Here is an introduction to the new Minelab Pro-Find 40 Pinpointer. It has improved stability, it's deeper, it's quicker and tougher.
The new Pro-Find 40 has a great new feature called Rapid Re-tune. It allows on demand calibration. You can Re-Tune your Pro-Find 40 to suit your environment, minimizing the interference in challenging ground conditions.
You will also find it has Ferrous Tone ID, you can sort through the ferrous trash to find your non ferrous targets.
You can adjust your Sensitivity, you can select between 5 different levels.
The Pro-Find 40 is waterproof up to 3 meters, 10 feet.

This is a spectacular tutorial for me! I just started detecting and cannot find an American nickel! Using the Vanquish 540. Growing frustrated with no Nickels.
Best bet is to take a nickel and see what target ID it comes up as. Canadian ones had a target ID of 12.

What is the point of the "salt indicator" in beach mode ?
Does anyone know if hard wiring the included bluetooth headphones disables the EMF output from them? I don't like wearing Bluetooth devices next to my head for extended periods. Anyone know?
Thanks for the explanation. I have a question about this modes. In my equinox 700, the field 2 mode ignores completely a big silver coin (air test), unless I change to 4/5KHz. This video explains that multi frequency for this mode prioritizes the higher frequencies, but is it expected that big silver coins are ignored completely by default multifreq or could be something wrong with my unit? The field 1 mode detects the coin perfectly. The field 2 mode also ignores big copper coins in multifreq, but detects them when picking individual frequencies.
@@santiagommc I wouldn’t have expected that. I don’t have the 700 or I would have been able to test it as well. Maybe call Minelab customer service.

No it’s the one that was bought by developers in Ottawa. It has full of houses on it now 😊👍

Manticore headphones are to big and to hot how do u use different headset like earbuds ect
Sorry I have no idea, I use the wireless and when it’s too hot I’m in the water with the waterproof ones. I haven’t tried anything else ☺️
I completely forgot about the WM09 Module, you can use earbuds with it, it still keeps you wireless from the detector. So sorry I should have thought of it.

F2 is the best all around, FE I preferred on older farm fields.
@@RelicDirtyhands oi, thanks for answering still going near F2 - 0 and Fe - 0? or you pump it up on first run
@@pero1337 are you having problems with iron or bottle caps? Zero is best, but if I use it or need it, I usually use a max of 4 and that’s usually enough for my sites. F2 was a version added with a later update. It’s a good overall iron bias but really helps when you’re digging to many bottle caps and chunky iron. The higher it’s set, the more you risk good targets being classified as iron, but using iron bias could reduce how many trash targets you dig. In areas I hit hard, I keep it at zero. But before I get frustrated I increase to 4. If you are dealing with too much falsifying, a reduced sensitivity can also help in those situations.

Good luck! There should be an old bottle dump on most 1800's properties. We find them on the hillside and bottoms of ravines. For flat areas, they often dug a pit in the yard to bury them or threw them in low areas in the bush. Sometimes the obvious glass or bottles on the surface aren't visible. A good probe would help in these cases.

When I use bluetooth headphones I can't turn the speaker off, any ideas please?
When the headphones are connected the speaker on the detector shouldn’t work.
It does that with wired ones but not with Bluetooth ones
@@briantack2058 it shouldn’t, once it’s plugged in, it should also stop. Are you using Minelab headphones!
@@RelicDirtyhands yes mine lab but of course the Bluetooth ones don't get plugged in
@@briantack2058 ok, I would contact customer support at Minelab. Once the wireless or wired ones are connected to the detector the outer speaker shouldn’t be on at the same time.

This is what I was looking for. Thanks for making this. I'm subscribed to your channel but never watched the tutorials. I'm in Italy and many of the older coins here are a nickel steel blend or acmonital. I just got my manticore and tested my coins and a few like these in your video show up in the ferrous range.

I had to reset my machine to factory preset before I could pair my wireless headphones
I can imagine how nervous she would have been if they put her in a window seat. The worst flight I ever had I hated just because they didn't give me one and people around me knew I was upset and I finally revealed that a window seat would make me enjoy it more.
