What a shit-show. Completely far fetched and ridiculous, the writing was laughable. All of this happened in 1 day of knowing each other. On the very first morning, this lodger woman has taken over the whole kitchen and cooked an entire breakfast for the whole family, (WHO DOES THAT). Then she tells lies to a neighbour that her new landlady has a terminal illness, just so she can get her free gas repairs, (WHO DOES THAT). Then the woman takes her for drinks and tells her more juicy personal stories about her marriage, when she's just acted like a psycho (WHO DOES THAT). Then on the same day husband is searching lodger woman online like she's some psycho that he's known for decades, (WHO DOES THAT). And to top it off the daughter says "WHAT DO YOU WANT" when lodger woman knocks on her bedroom door, again as if she knows her for decades and they had a fall out. This lodger woman has been at the house for 1 day for peats sake. Who's writing this tosh, needs to get a new job.

Typically people in the comments crying about “wokeness”. Bleeding ‘eck, even if you’re mocking political correctness or just having a giggle at something you lot will see wokery in it. Watched it for five minutes. Biggest problem is it isn't funny. Nothing to do with political correctness. It just isn't funny.

The problem with trying to make a "non-PC" character is that you can't actually show him be "non-PC" as it would upset the snowflakes.

Imagine if the twist was that mammoth wasn’t actually frozen in time, but actually a dementia dream and it was actually his fantasies from the past maybe that could be a twist for the end of the show.

Had to stop watching it after the first episode. The female PE teacher was awful. Why are modern female characters so unlikable? She was just aggressive and a smart arse from the start. The icing on the cake was when she said liking cars and booze was a sign of toxic masculinity. I had to turn it off after that. Why do the BBC always have to ruin stuff with trying to lecture its audience.

I like the 70s teacher everyone else is a bellend. Makes me wish it was still the 70s
