We hiked and summited the new trail to Mailbox. Elevation gain is around 4000ft for 10-11 miles. The last mile is the hardest part so be prepared. Recommended Gear:

This is the back entrance to Snoqualmie Falls, the hike is 2 miles of paved straight trail, then .5 to a ,1 mile of muddy hills and flats. The hike is incredibly fun, but beware of mud. We hiked in the snow to Franklin Falls! It seemed to be around 6 miles and was very crowded with other hikers! The waterfall was beautiful and full, we highly recommend!
