Today i learned the word anemoia, this song made me feel that way the first time i listened to it. To feel nostalgia for a time you never knew.

There I was: in a lovely used book store with a modest media collection, rummaging through the CDs. Sorted alphabetically, I rummaged through the As, the Bs, the Cs, all the way down the line. Finally I reached the Ms and the name, Morning Teleportation, called to me. After picking it up I gazed upon the album art work. Something about it, I couldn't put my finger on it, was familiar; appealing. Whether I had seen this specific artist and enjoyed their style, or just liked it at first glance, I was intrigued to learn more about the music within this jewel case. Flipping it over, I saw the record label: Glacial Pace. Now you may not know Glacial Pace Records, but I do. Ages ago I had watched the lead singer of my favorite band give an interview about starting a label he had named Glacial Pace. "If it's good enough for Isaac Brock," I said, "it's good enough for me!" Five dollars and ninety-nine cents later and she was all mine. Listening to this album is genuinely an experience. They captured the most incredible energy when they recorded this. I don't know how they managed it, but it's phenomenal. Over and over I listened to this album - I could not get enough of this music! Finally I searched to see if this band was touring; if they had this much incredible energy in the studio, they must be absolutely mesmerizing in life. In life. What a funny word to think. After googling the band I quickly saw I would never have the opportunity to see this amazing collection of artistry live. I was crushed. Tiger, I didn't know you. Literally all I know about you is that you were a very talented musician with a lovely voice. And I am devastated that I never got a chance to witness your performance live. In a small way, though, you'll always be here. Expanding Anyway, with me.

I love this band. I listened the self titled albums 100s of times when it first came out and still listen to it often. This album is also great. I just got back from driving a few thousand miles and this album was perfect to listen to while driving through Mississippi late at night while driving into the morning hours.
