I really didn't need to see the fuel pump being changed. Did the p0455 go away? What else can cause the error code? Did you do anything else? I would like to know where the canister purge valve is located. Could you leave a reply ( June 2024)
Lucky much! I would bet money that somebody knocked it off or left it off while working on the car!
Nice job man!
The vcs and abs come on automatically if the engine light comes on. Its a 3 for 1 package. Nothing wrong with vcs.
The gauge you kept referring to for the coolant temp was the trans temp gauge 🙊 but yes did you figure it out? Mine just threw the VCT code yesterday. But AZ’s shitty scanner wouldn’t tell me which one was failing
Did you Figure it out
Why do a video, if you are in the way 90%?
Great install! Thank you
Tell us about the program you used in your computer and the code reader you used. Thanks for the great video.
Bought a cheap one off eBay $30 only lasted 5000 miles then the bearings came apart with the pulley causing a major leak I would go with the ome parts
Can you tell me how you tested the ignition switch?
Easy placement on the water pump nice ford actually came thru
Mine just took a shit catastrophically at 62k miles. Suddenly my temp gauge skyrocketed and all my coolant decided to leave. I was a little concerned it was something more serious because i have never had a car overheat and explode so quickly and violently. Once I actually see the water pump itself I’m sure it will be way worse than this one.
New subscriber!
appreciate it!!
Good stuff! Liked & subscribed. Got a quick question if you don't mind. I have a 2019 Ford Taurus AWD 3.5L Naturally Aspirated. Code P0013 popped up the other day, says Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Sensor Circuit. Open (Bank 1). Starts fine, runs, no stalling, just no power when you get up to speed, as in when you want to pass a car. 58,000 miles, oil changed every 5,000 miles. Bought the Camshaft Sensor for it, think thats all that needs to be changed? Or it saying circuit on the code reader might mean the plug in connector..or the wire to the sensor? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Appreciate the watch and sub👍 Most likely the sensor internally is open. Off the top of my head, I’d have to look at a diagram, easiest check is to unplug it see if that code changes. If it throws same code, sensor faulty. If it sets more/different codes, circuit integrity from PCM is good, but could possibly have a wiring issue from sensor to pcm.
@@diagnosticsdoneright Alright cool thanks for replying!
How many miles you had on your ST when pump failed? I am about to change mine WP at 75300…
i forget the mileage honestly. i think it was around 80k.
@@diagnosticsdoneright I just got back from the shop, old pump was just like yours...
188k till the original water pump went out but mostly freeway miles I think it’s all on how you drive it
@@fairfax_fran5109 it is my daily driver, but winters here are insane so i guess that affects lifespan of this part big time...
2011 camaro 4 shops havent been able to fix. P2138🤬
My Camaro has the same problem already replaced ecu throttle body and pedal any luck on urs?
a p2138 code on that model would indicate a short to voltage. there's likely some wires rubbed through and touching somewhere.
Hey, i have pretty much the same car. Clicks when i turn over but no crank. I used a jumper wire to check the starter relay, srarter is good, tried different battery, not that. All fuses under hood are hot. Tracked it to a "start" fuse under the dash. Tried 2 fuses that were both good but my test light dont light up when i plug it into there. Also theres a few tail light fuses that are bad but i knew that. Any ideas?? I didnt pull the terminals apart like u did, just cleaned em up. Gonna try that i guess. Thanks
only way that start fuse receives power is from the ignition switch itself. I'd check there.
Just the video I was looking for. Thank's for uploading and taking the time to film this
Heck I've swapped mine and the throttle body and wiring is fine and still have the issue
czcams.com/video/2wd6qgIGtWM/video.htmlsi=jwtO4CiBpImvKuqT
Probably the throttle body.
hola..noches --porque el multmetro esta esca de 2v,,tendria que estar 20v para que no se open la señal del app1
how do you get aldata
you pay for it. $200+/month www.alldata.com/us/en/plp?gclid=Cj0KCQiA6fafBhC1ARIsAIJjL8kWNAiw88HO-BQ_v06hs6kBXcME8HbMx3uos0BxX6yiOtXc6rnhC0gaAiJGEALw_wcB or you can use Mitchell1 (owned by snapon instead of autozone) for $20 per vehicle www.eautorepair.net/marketing/default.asp
Is there any way you still have the part numbers for t he ball joints and upper swing arms
Does a bad pump cause water and oil to mix ? Always thought only cracked engine or blown gaskets would do this ?
I'm sure on some designs, but not typically. No issues here other than bad pump. Ended up changing a blown turbo and valve cover gasket as well on this same vehicle. They are junk
Wow! Finally a how to test video. Excellent video, did you happen to make one for TPS
i did not, but that test would functionally be the same just to ensure no internal shorts.
GRT Video! Just curious why you don't have access 2 the dog house? Glad to see those sides off. NewBe owner of a 93 Bounder ... lots 2 learn THX! ✌from 💔🇺🇸
Where should I support the engine from
Right under the oil pan with a block of wood.
Nice work, the electricals in this car are turning my screws
Appreciate it. Sometimes the answer is so simple, but the journey there can be a long and winding road.
