@giszTube It was by decidion. Rules of this tournament. There was a time when Csrmen lost tobTerry by decision. These two always fight it out in the final. For now Terry is a stronger judoka.

Is this judo or BJJ competition? If judo, hand shake is not allowed. Isn't it?
Its allowed, but not common, usually follows accidental poke in the eye. In this case it was kind of uncalled for.
Learning sutemi waza in this age group is not good. Stick with the basics, build solid foundation. In Europe is sutemi waza for this young kids not allowed for a reason.

Its run by georgians. They love their georgian grip. Looking at her one might think thats the only thing they do. ))) And yeah, they seem to promote too soon.

Sensei, check it out, there was actually a choke hiding in the osaekomi. That's why Carmen was tapping. Neither I nor the ref noticed it in the moment!
@@sakurajudousa, It is true, the strangulation occurs involuntarily due to pressure from the shoulder on Carmen's neck, but it would have been unfair for the competitor in white if, having control of Osaekomi, the referee said Matte...it was very professional of Carmen to abandon this time.

She’s a good fighter for a youngster. When I’ve seen her compete at the Nationals watching on CZcams she’ll need to have some other throwing techniques up her sleeve to usurp opponents of a higher quality. I think they could read the drop o- ouchi and Ippon seo. Her groundwork though looks solid.

With each tournament, with each fight Carmen becomes more technical...she has a great future assured, at 9 years old she is already a great Judoka...we must follow her career very closely, she is a prodigy.

White gi won by wazari. In judo you get a score for throwing somebody. Getting somebody's back gives you no score.

I trained with this 9 degree black belt here in Colorado pretty sure she was in the Olympics as well I’m a submission grappler but it’s always good to have some judo skills but I swear she was 120 lbs but she felt like she was Aton 😳

I can say I know karate I had a black belt but earning just the blue belt in judo was horrible, start with the history of judo, love what you're doing, I got my ass kicked so many times but you'll learn. Then do self defense, be a God in a fight in your mind.
