thank you for that. That’s why I love coming into the comments and seeing where I was mistaken. I had pinned a comment of somebody explaining that to me, and due to that I’ve completely had a change of heart on this song as depression and mental health is something that I struggle with. I completely empathize with the struggle that he had to go through and the pain that he must have felt, dealing with being secluded from everyone and everything he knows and loves. On a first listen, it sounded like it was just a party song, but having explained to me what it’s truly about and looking through the lyrics again I have a complete change of heart on it and I think that it’s not only an amazing sounding song with the 80s electronic synth pop vibe, but the meaning of the song and the meaning of the lyrics are exquisite, and I completely love it now. Sometimes, it takes a second listen, or an educated person to explain the meaning behind a certain piece of art before you can truly appreciate it and that’s what happened with me. thank you so much for your comment. See now that’s what I like to hear. I’m so glad that there was a deeper meaning to the song that makes me really love that song. I deal with anxiety and depression on a very deep level so I get that feeling so much and I completely understand, the thought process of being trapped in the depression and wanting to stay in a dream state and not wake up to the pain and suffering of reality. Thank you so much for explaining that. I figured that they had to be a deeper meaning to the lyrics, but it was hard to decipher for me. It seems just like it was a party song. Then when you break down the lyrics, you watch the video again and find that it’s not real, he’s toeing the line of reality and wanting to not be in reality. The blurred visuals, him not always looking like he’s there but a bit lost. With this song, Jimin did successfully hit #1 on the Top 100 Billboard chart, the first ever for a kpop soloist. There are 5 songs for Jimin’s FACE album plus a hidden track that was on the physical album called Letter or Dear ARMY. FACE is probably my favorite album b/c I can relate to it so much. You don’t see many artist reveal their personal hardships/struggles, but Jimin somehow did it within these 5 songs. Only Like Crazy and Set Me Free part 2 have MVs. Oh, I definitely will be checking out more because I know that he has more music that I would probably fall in love with. And someone else did explain the meaning of this song and I actually like it a lot more because I understand it. It’s hard to get a grasp of Certain songs sometimes when you’re hearing it for the very first time and trying to keep up with the lyrics and what they’re actually saying. I didn’t realize that this was about the pandemic and how he felt and dealt with the lack of his outlet to be creative and perform and stuff like that. Now that I understand that I actually really like this song. I said from the very beginning Style and video was amazing. I loved it. The electronic 80s synth pop vibe is exactly the type of music that I get into. It was just the meaning of the song that I misunderstood that I felt a little lost and wasn’t my style but understanding what it is actually saying now I definitely have a new set of eyes on it and enjoy it a lot. I’ll definitely be checking out all of the members I am going to be doing SUGA next that’ll come out midnight tonight. And then I’m gonna be getting into RM and then we’re gonna be doing a bunch of BTS as a group and then I’m in a cycle through lot of each individual members again so we’re not leaving them behind. We’re gonna be doing more of every single one of them. I just wanted to get through every member so I could get to know their styles first before I saw BTS as a whole.I’m definitely gonna be checking out golden Jin is getting out of the military in about two weeks so we’re gonna have to do a little celebration for him. That’s actually the other one that was suggested to me by somebody else that’s on my list so maybe I will check that one out next. I really do like the sound of his music and his voice is awesome and just by the company he keeps with the other members of BTS, I would assume that he’s just as humble and amazing as all the others but for me in particular these type of songs just aren’t for me but like I said, the sound is amazing. No, you didn’t upset me at all. I need people like you to point out those mistakes that I make. I really do want to experience every one of the people I react to in full. I want to know why they do what they do what they stand for And creatively how they put their art together for us to digest it. Yeah, he is amazing and I do see the dynamic range that he presents in all of his videos. He does seem to be a very outside the box thinker, and performer when it comes to his music and the videos alongside those songs. While I’m not a woman and I don’t swoon over him. I do see why women do. The song it really is hard to nail down as far as it’s genre there’s very elements as well as pop and some R&B.
