i would like to make this jacket from the pattern I bought. you never return emails..... I don't need 61 pages that are part of the download. I just need the pattern. paper & ink are expensive & the cost would be just stupid. if you can't accommodate me please return the money I spent on the pattern... Most likely you will ignore this comment as you have the countless emails I have sent. Just a warning to others who would go ahead & purchase anything from this site. thanks for the rivets.Susan K.

Thank you. It’s been a couple of years since I made some vinties and I’ve always done the pleats wrong 😂 I’ve been overlapping the top and pressing it then sewing along the top to keep the pleats there this looks much easier.

What was that presser foot you were using with the hump jumper..

This video needs to be redone. Sorry but this is terrible as you can’t see anything. Shame because if we could see it would have been great.

Always a good idea to trim the seam to an 1/8th inch after the first pass to reduce bulk and so you can be sure you don't get stray threads when you do the second pass. Definitely don't topstitch on the outside, it isn't necessary and defeats the purpose of the neat little seam. You should also take account of the seam allowance called for in the pattern and reduce the French seam accordingly. You would get a much better finish binding the armholes AFTER sewing the side seams which would reduce the bulk in the French seam at the armscye.

Sounds wonderful but camera needs to be moved to show fabric as we can't see what or where you are folding and cutting.
