Can anyone with remote marine biology knowledge answer my query?: I was just wondering if maybe those whales could detect the faint 'woo-hoos' from the divers when they swim past them? Given how intelligent whales are, my mind leads me to believe that the whales could somehow recognize like a distressed call from an exhilarated call, and maybe could get a sense of these weird little creatures (the divers) they've never seen before responding positively to their presence? Or maybe someone with adequate knowledge could burst my bubble and just notify that these whales couldn't care less about these divers' presence and were simply swimming by Because of my intense curiosity, any responses are greatly appreciated

Does anybody else here find it just a bit alarming that something that huge can simply appear like that under the sea and you don't see it until it's on you? We don't know what else is down there and whether all of it is as peaceful as those whales.

Whales have the most advanced on-board sonar system in nature, this big boy must have sensed something strange in the water with the small fish. You can see he just swam by to take a look and say Hi.

I fell in love with the sound of Whales, when I was a very young (other side of todler) little girl. The Old Harbour Museum in Hermanus was home to a fascinating Whale Section. The great big beautiful highlight for me, and a memory that would become forever imprinted deep within me, was reaching way up, to press the Whale Sound Button on the wall. And "REPEAT" :). Listening to these gentle giants speak, with their voices travelling so clearly, so far underwater, was like a pure miracle to me. And I recall the overwhelming sense of connection to the WONDER (of LIFE) I FELT. Ears pitched, as if it was yesterday. It breaks my heart that so many of these beautiful beings are dying off in their numbers. And at a FAR MORE ALARMING rate than you have been told. ALL AROUND THE GLOBE. What really gets me down (& in truth, slightly infurated) is that SO MANY HUMANS, who know the EXACT TRUTH about, and REAL KEY REASON** behind these rapid die offs (and washing up of whales on our beaches), CHOOSE TO REMAIN SILENT. Even more saddening, is that these real KEY reason(s) are in fact HIDDEN from the public, by those very individuals & (so called environmental) organisations, who have taken on the OFFICIAL ROLE OF PROTECTING NATURE & MARINE LIFE (& nogals earns a pay cheque for said "ROLE"). WHY? Because the (global big spOIL owned) GOVERNMENT, WHO ARE THE ONES DOING ALL THIS DAMAGE, SAID SO. I trust and pray you can hear my plea. >> >> >> >> Please learn about Climate Engineering & how the Intense Microwave Energy AS WELL AS highly TOXIC NANO sized Chemical FALL OUT [from Solar Radiation Management & Weather Warfare operations] affects marine life, and EVERYTHING IT TOUCHES. IN FACT, Covert Climate Engineering is DRIVING THE KILLING OFF of ALL LIFE on our planet. DAY & NIGHT. The ocean is so large and vast compared to the land on this Earth. Only about 25% of the Earth is land, so these whales are actually nothing compared the the giants we never see at the very bottom of the ocean. Look at it this way, with the ocean being that large, it's not inconceivable that there are creatures down there the size of a city.

Really old video, but what actually surprised me was the number of fish that felt safe enough to swim up close to the front diver. I've never seen that behavior before. I also wonder if the divers could sense/hear in which direction the whale sounds were coming from.

getting into the water is so stupid! If you are so intent on getting eaten why not just make friends with a cannibal? At least they would kill you clean and quick rather than being ripped apart by some kind of eel or shark or barracuda or some other huge beast
