Ah, should have guessed, I tried to make a Dilo video a while ago but died for that reason so I didn't upload it.

Yea but sadly I don't think anyone is using that mutation for that specific purpose. The idea is actually a good one though, if people stopped playing this game like a deathmatch it'd be very helpful in those situations. Like "yea we didn't kill the Teno and two of our pack mates died but hey at least we wont starve."

@@ALunaticWithAShotgun True, mainly the reason I played on unofficials. The constant PVP becomes tiresome.

@@gajspalt Speaking of unofficials, can you reccomend some with light rules ? Because all the ones I know have a ton of them and I can't really keep all of them in mind.

@@ALunaticWithAShotgun I used to play on Petit Pieds, their server is pretty dead atm though, will probably pick up after the update releases. I'd recommend anything with atleast 100+ players. Was going to recommend Zooming Islander, but scratch that thought.

Yea it's abysmal turning speed combined with the lack of bleed resistance make it unable to fight most things. It's good against Dilos but a duo of Omnis will kill a Carno in like, less than a minute and it also loses to Cera in 1v1.

​@@traedavis149 I mean... Yea... Obviously 3 Carnos are going to annihilate any solo Cera, what is your point ? Because it doesn't change that Cera still wins in a 1v1 and Carno's only option is to run away. And if it's taking 3-4 Carnos just to kill a mere two Omnis then the issue is worse than I tought.

@@ALunaticWithAShotgun everyone has a group bro no one is solo. caron’s are built for a pack you run in get a charge off then sub out your buddy goes next. cera is a lone wolf type needs to be tankier going around eating garbage a FG cera is an even match tho still with carno and will be with allo

True the ratio between player slots and the roster size is an issue and yes they either need to increase the number by quite a bit (which they are trying to do) or split the roster on officials and seperate the playables that have a similar niche.

Yea I know, it's just, there was not much to do other than eating stuff.

Yea the increased lung capacity doesn't feel all that much better when it's so low to begin with. Might have been a little more worthwhile if we didn't have op mutations like "eat to regen hp" and "take less damage from larger stuff" and so on.

@@ALunaticWithAShotgun Yeah it's not worth the trade-off. If you could outswim other stuff so that you can use water to escape. And lung capacity so you can pop out in a different spot. It just feels like wasted mutation slots.

@@Deimos_Day Yea, though I at least wanted to try out non-meta mutations. I hope they nerf the combat focused ones if not completely get rid of them and focus on more lifestyle mutations like these.

There are no unofficials on horde testing branch lmao Plus in most good community servers there are too many rules for me to keep in mind. Plus, at least I'm doing something instead of just complaining lol

I don't know what part of this they find fun, my theory is that people who cheat in video games are like getting bullied at school or something and this is basically their way of feeling like they have control. Either way it's pathetic.

I started recording as soon as I saw their cheats and it was still recording until I returned to the main menu of the game, so it looks like you can as long as you are in the server.

Also, unfortunately the nature of cheating these people will not face justice and making hit pieces on people can be problematic. If they re wrote the code for evirma and cheating is this bad it will never get better and they will just continue to hide it. These cheaters have a million ways around getting banned and unfortunately if the code was not re written to prevent these easy exploits it will never be fixed.

Yea honestly dealing with this game's dev team is akward and annoying, like they do make a cool game minus the bugs and the not so great optimization but man they absolutely suck at communication. Also I couldn't report the cheaters on the discord either because I was also banned quite a while ago (during update 6.5 hordetesting) though my reasons for getting banned were at least slightly valid, I was having a pretty bad day already and then got a bit too mad at some mixpackers.

My friend did too, all he did was say "Speedhacking raptor on NA 4", the "extreme misinformation" was... just saying that it was a raptor, WHICH IS WAS, so it wasn't misinformation

Honestly this is my first time running into hackers, it was like 1:40 am and I usually don't play at this hour so that may be the reason. I just decided to upload it out of spite and also maybe I get views lol

@@RobotShark21 I have been VERY lucky so far yea, I may have dropped the game if it happened to me very often tbh. You can probably tell how little I can tolerate cheating just by the fact that I uploaded a whole video with the steam IDs of the cheaters in about 45 minutes after the first time it happened to me.

Yea that's fair, I'm mostly on the middle ground, I only wanna kill as much as a carnivore I'm playing has to in order to fill it's stomach and then I sit and relax next to my kill if I can. In my ideal The Isle session pvp is not something you do out of nowhere but instead it's a necessity, this way when a carnivore player attacks you, you know they just want food and that's just how life works, when it happens like this there are no hard feelings. That's why I try to stay clear of hot spots for the most part, I don't want constant fighitng. And sometimes just for wandering around the map looking at the pretty scenery as a cool dinosaur, just like you said.

I know right, I hope moments like this become more common in the future. It used to be way more common back in legacy before the tail riding meta and it's also what made me like the game so much in the first place.

Yea, though for the last year or so it was really difficult to just chill out after a hunt because you would be swarmed almost immediately. But when I made this video I sat there for like 20 minutes and nothing happened.

Sorry for the silly question but how many players max on the horde test I know it usually 100 players

@@sircaptnmorganswargaming918 No that's a perfectly reasonable question, it's 140 on servers with AI and there are also 2 servers that have no AI but have a 180 player capacity instead, so the capacity is actually higher than it is on live branch for this horde test.

Honestly, I believe that. Because I didn't see nearly as many Omnis in south plains as I did when grapple first relased. You can see even in this video which I recorded a week ago that there are not nearly as many Omnis around. Your work is appreciated my friend.
