HOLY COW. Memory unlocked. I used to play this when I was 13 years old back in 1997.. I remember the soundtrack too, it had great menu music!

I've been making my way through these last few upload batches. I have nearly every IE, but I could never track down the later issues, aside from one. Then the only laptop I had that could run these with the required (old) software finally died, I didn't think I'd ever get to check out the disc. Thanks for the uploads!

LOL, I had fun with this game, got it on a shovelware CD magazine. The flight model was laughably bad. In the release version, the aircraft would steer like a car when rudder was applied. Then they released a patch that would add roll when you used the rudder, for added "realism" :D. The music was cool.

I completed SotHR on 386 40Mhz, last battle run so badly that it took several seconds to go from one frame to another, but I loved the whole game.

My friends and I wasted so much of our lives in college drafting teams and simming out seasons. I loved the slow simming of each game. We would sit there glued to the monitor anytime our team played watching it play out. It was the most amazing thing in the world at the time.

Never would have expected to see this again.

Wow. You're posting _several_ favorites from my childhood tonight. My father told me when he picked me up from school one day (I think second or third grade) that he'd bought us a new game. He said it was a horror game called Shivers. In my head on the ride home I pictured some kind of sidescroller playing as a skeleton. Instead I got lifelong trauma. 10/10, still attempt to inflict that pain upon other people to this day.

The amount of time I dumped into this game was almost _obscene._ Especially after I got a flight controller for it. It was so good. And the music was so good. And you could pop it into a CD player and play it like a regular music disc (quite a few games allowed that, as I found out over time). "At the end of 1996, the US air force will completely eliminate the A-10s from its inventory." AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ah, and the 2 player mode wasn't that great. Whoever gets the first shot in in combat wins.

Fun fact: this game was supposed to be Master of Magic 2. It didn't happen, but you can clearly see the ideas they were trying to implement in MoM2.

This is awesome, took me a minute to figure out what was going on.
