Wow, I couldn’t agree more with you. Picton is such a relaxing and quaint town. During my year-long trip in NZ, I kept coming back to Picton to chill and enjoy time passing by. I’m glad to see that even 5 years later, Picton has conserved its unique mood and that you get to enjoy it. Thanks for sharing your adventure .

In general, food in Cusco is nothing to write home about (to put it mildly). If you love to eat alpacas, Guinea pigs or parched pork, congrats, you found your heaven. But I had a hard time the second time in my life to find a good place to eat. (The first time was in the UK, of course). Luckily I found one next door to where I stayed, though. I have lived in a latin neighborhood for many years, so I know what they eat. Like many Latin cuisines, the food in Cusco is as uninviting as it looks. Interestingly, there is no signature food in Cusco. Don’t give me that deep fried dough thingy. It is not food.

The witches market is the most ridiculous tourist attraction in human history. There are no witches there for once. Only llama fetus. You call that witchmarket? While in La Paz go to the Tiwanaku museum on July Avenue downtown. Archaeology has more depth than fantasy witches make believe. La Paz is not Bolivia's Capital. Sucre is Bolivia's constitutional Capital. La Paz is an Administrative Capital or Seat of Government Capital. Go to see dinasour tracks, go to Tiwanaku ruins for a day. There is a museum to the left from the Plaza Murillo Cathedral right on the corner or u can ask anyone. This museum is worth visiting to learn Bolivia's history.

I'm going the end of this week with a friend, separate cabins, but same level being inside cabins and being almost winter suspect it's going to be far far rougher than you experienced. I"m not good with motion sickness particularly ships.

O quizás la Cuenca del Amazonas colombiano. O si lo prefieren el área del Caribe. También esta la cordillera central (o Cordillera de los Andes) el área andina. You would be surprised how much food you can fit in a small fridge, how little you need a freezer and how much doesn't actually need to be stored in a fridge. We have gone 3+ weeks on the road with our little chest fridge without any issues. Without the freezer you also don't have drainage issues.

I’m half Lithuanian. So grew up eating this food, but I think it was poor farmers food. My grandparents were poor farmers who legally migrated to the US. The bread was amazing, sauerkraut with Lithuanian sausage or sardines, baked shredded potatoes with bacon and bacon fat, rolls stuffed with ground meat. Super hearty food, and other baked and fried sweets. I wish they were alive today to see these videos and reconnect with their many extended family members. My grandmother tried writing letters but we felt they were probably intercepted by the then regime behind the iron curtain. She spoke of Vilnius.

You are also going to need a small (since no shower/toilet) grey water storage for the sink/fridge. also another reason to put the sink and fridge close to each other. Looking great soo far :)
