There was just something pretty appealing from S1's art style, probably the smoother color combinations? Webtoon's S1 looked pretty hard to read for those who are really picky about the art quality so no one can really say that S1's art was adapted 1 to 1. This looks pretty good though and I just really hope they're to adapt at least 24 eps for S2. Sunday is just around the corner and I'm excited to see this arc animated.

I feel like a lot of fans, myself include, were a bit pessimistic because the art style changed, and some scenes being changed. But looking back at it, it actually looks really good. The animation looks so smooth, especially Wangnan's facial expressions. And the music is as you said, incredibly good, as expected from the goat Penkin. Really looking forward to Ep 1 coming out in a few days.

every second was PEAK. im not even kidding seeying all of thoes beloved characters animated / voice acted. 2nd half of 2024 starting so good and i think tower of god will stay with us till the end of the year.. hopfully if the anime wont have a mid-season year break

I actually noticed these inconsistencies as well but bare in mind, Kiruko had a flashback to a memory that wasn't his where his sister and Robin were doing stuff together even back then, and something about that felt like the same guy to me back then, idk if I said that right. He did seem more caring though, yelling at Haruki for endangering himself. But that could also be because they planned on experimenting on him from the start, which isn't impossible to imagine. as for him running away from a 15 year old when he was clearly capable of whooping some ass before, he could have just gotten soft being in a position of higher power where he doesn't get in as many fights, or it could have just been the writer wanting us to have a moment where we can see him be the one panicking, him being the one running, him being the one in danger. It's only a piece of fiction after all, little inconsistencies like this will happen Appreciate you looking into it though, I wouldn't put it past the show for something like what you said to be true, but i'm also not 100% convinced. Sometimes a monster is just that

DIdn't read the manga or anything but I feel like that wasn't when he lost his memories like he watched the anime one night and the next day he woke up not remembering anything. If we go back to ep 1 when Haruka was visiting Kei at the hospital, Kei had some bandages wrapped around his head, so I feel like it's definitely some sort of injury that happened during their off season or maybe after the matches were over, because if it was something that happened during team practice, there's no way Haruka would've come in flowers and all after Kei was awake. So they might've been apart/ did not see eo for a while, hence the flowers? maybe? idk it's just some things that i observed. Also ppl from other schools would've been aware of Kei getting admitted into the hospital. Otherwise ppl wouldn't be assuming that Kei is currently going through a 'slump', instead they would've thought 'oh that's right he was in the hospital i heard, might be injuries'. I digress but i feel like Kei watching that shoujo anime might've been during the competition season bcuz from the way he talked of the anime it felt like something he did on impulse while he started to feel tired of baseball, like how he talked abt the losing and winning stuff that happens sm in baseball but a he envies the freedom of other school students who don't need to worry abt all that

Actually, not entirely. Regarding Kei’s amnesia, the animation only talks about the most superficial part. After the end of the first season, you can start from Chapter 31 of the manga. spoiler warning . . . . . Kei is a very strong person, and this level of pressure alone would not cause him to collapse into what he is now. The content of animation ep12 is more like saying that some of the actions of Kei in the present are things that Kei in the past wanted to do but couldn't do.

What hyped me up after watching this was, checking the ToG S2's MyAnimeList info and seeing the episodes as "unknown". If they gonna have 24 eps at least or more, then people be eating good.
