This is the era where I turned off of Yu-Gi-Oh, so I’ve never seen a 5Ds game. Excited to see this!

You being worried about making a big play and forgetting/miessing it up reminds me of the one Magic game I won because someone thought they could combo off, realized they messed up, and left me with a creature with 32,000 +1/+1 counters. They could not block it.

That was an incredible final battle. Somehow came down to the literal last possible second. If you even had like 41 instead of 42 small recovery s you would have lost.

Yeah, Tag Force 3 only has a few 5Ds era cards, but you can still make an oppresive DAD deck. I've heard one version of Chazz uses it when he's your partner, but I never 100% that game so I can't confirm that. I play more Tag Force 6 and Special these days. I can't wait for the Tag Force 3 playthrough whenever you start it and seeing you in awe at Blair's glow up in that game. She's an amazing partner there. Aster is much better too.

This game brings back so many memories for me. I remember one part towards the end that was super hard for me to beat (those who have played this game before probably know what I’m talking about) but once I did I was so happy. This is going to be a good one.

I wouldnt say it's exactly because of the AI, but the WCS games are usually a lot more mean than the Tag Force games. The story duels are fine for the most part, but some random NPCs will be randomly kicking your butt with way too competent decks for some reason They do some fancy plays from time to time, though

This game would be so much better if you had access to other synchros. Those three are the ONLY three you're ever gonna have until post game if I recall. You'd be better off building some kind of control deck or something imo When I played this I built a jank Silent Swordsman lock down deck XD

This game saved my life... I would never have survived being 12 and having to go shopping with my mom without my trusty DS and this game.

This was my first ever Story Related Yu-Gi-Oh game I have owned.

The trick is to have many OCs so you can make at least one of them in these character creators. Like how all the girl hairstyles except for poofy ribbons and not Pegasus sorta vaguely look like some of my characters, though not the colors. I'm not really a fan of non-natural hair and eye colors.

Mokuba calling him Kaiba instead of Seto is such a weird thing to see.

Another day another YGO play through except This Time it's a play throw of a game that I played a good amount of and had a bit of fun with it despite not Really understanding the mechanics of it.

Tbh THAT Agumon is less disturbing looking than I remember, for some reason I remember him looking more realistic, I think if they tried they could have censored him lol Also, to the question about how he made it to the game, well, let's not forget what side Japan was on in the event that Agumon was referencing, sadly Japan is kind of whatever about depictions of these people even today (cosidering there is an actual fashion based on their uniforms there) and Japan did some of the worst war crimes in the world. Don't google how we know humans are 60% water for example

Maybe somebody already told you, but Hypno ripping out eyes might be a riff on the Sandman version of the author E. T. A. Hoffmann, who takes children's eyes and feeds them to his own children. That whole story is kinda messed up and since it has to do with children and falling asleep, the Hypno connection isn't that far off. On the actual video - I actually had a Grumpig in my very first Sapphire team all the way back when the game released. It ended up being one of my favorite mons that run and even nowadays, I like its puffy arms and that funny smile. I'm currently planning a set to use in the Gen3 Battle Frontier for the nostalgic value (and Own Tempo)

All the hype over the last month made watching this well worth the wait, glad you were able to finally get the playthrough uploaded!

I really enjoyed this series, it doesn't matter that this is the third one, it's always fun. There have been a total of 3 card-based digimon games. first Digimon World: Digital Card Battle which is in fact a retelling of digimon world with some differences and that they solve things with cards. Then it was Digimon World: Digital Card Arena, which was the one that reached the rest of the world and they changed the name to "Card battle", which makes it confusing when it comes to referring to which is which, in addition to the fact that both play completely different from the real tcg. Finally there is "digimon trading card game" for wonderswan, the bandai portable console (yes, that exists) and this in fact follows the rules of the "hyper colosseum" the tcg of that time, which makes it the only game you can have the most faithful experience and it is in fact very fun and easy to understand, the problem is that it did not leave Japan. also the "agumon with the funny mustache" that appears in the first game is just an npc that you battle 1 or 2 times, it is not that relevant in the game's story, it is still strange that it even exists in the first place.

So apparently the mushroom puzzle is indeed just eating all of them and outhealing the dangerous ones, so knowing which guest represents which mushroom is poisonus or not only helps for the player to find how many healing items they'll need Honestly if they havea full stack of Large Med Kits they can just brute force it because they are a full heal, including healing poison

Wow. Evolving into Numemon actually makes you lose stats. I was tracking your stats when Teddi was a Patamon with the Digimon evolution tool. (It's fun for me to see what you're on track to get). I wasn't expecting to see the reduction in stats after it became a Numemon but I suppose it is intended to be a punishment. It can digivolve into Monzaemon without the suit but good luck getting its stats all the way up.
