Do you not wash the wound with soap and water first? Also the medics say not to hydrate until in a hospital? Then hydrate? Please explain. Thank you for showing the wrap..Also could you explain more about anti venom kits and venom suction tool.. saw it online and also how long to lay still if you are in the middle of a hike and no medical facility near... thank you..
❤❤❤
Well done to the Ambulence service team. Great work. Always there for the community.
Behold! A system error led to the dispatch of the transaction to an invalid email address.
Best thing i ever done CPR and defib training
This snake bite method is a big JOKE?! This woman is trying to fool every one.
Very informative, but like us who lived in the mountains, the survival is crucial sad to say when it happened the victim died we dont have treatment facilities, that's why i have fear of snakes coz one of our neighbours died the kid was bite by king cobra while playing in their backyard he die while his inside the vehicle going to the hospital 1 hour away but sad thing even the hospital dont have the anti venom 😢😢
is there a response if we administer on clothes? and how the mechanism of epipen?
Facts
😢😢😢😢
so Great to see members looking like me.
AM so exacted with your lifestyle how can i volunteer with you.
i love your uniform
am so motivated with this True Testimony
To me your bandaging is not correct. Venom spreads towards the heart so it is of no use of bandaging below the bite site, rather it is more harmful.
So what is the purpose for applying bandage to the whole arm? Trying to reduce blood flow but not to stop the flow completely?
LOl
P P
Question why wouldn’t you wrap from top of leg to foot to stop poison flow? Thx
you should also make sure they don't have a medical I.D
Why do videos conveying critical info always feel the need to have music competing with the talking? 🙄🤷🏽♂️
Next do a video about whý this technique works best. People who see that will remember much better what to do.
Oh i always thought the bandage was to reduce the amount of blood flow, so the bandage is to only compress the muscles.?
Amazing way to pass a message 👏
O
It’s a bit why so much bandage
🤦♂️ to restrict the flow of venom bite?
Genuinely worried about broken neck, how can we know if it may be dangerous
Weaver fish sorted with hot water too

Is three seconds enough? I thought it was ten seconds
most new EpiPen's only need 3 seconds to administer a full dose of epinephrine.
This simple action saved my Son-in-Law's life after a crash in W.A.

After verifying good breathing, you should do a wet check, apply critical interventions, then move to a head to toe. Then you will do the recovery position, continuous monitoring.
That's a lot to remember. I hope most people have a better memory than I do.
With practice. It becomes easier ;-).
I don't wanna sound mean or anything but in real life there is a small chance that stranger would do what she did in this video for a total stranger
Congrats to our Green Angels 😇 ❤
bs video

The end looking like some sacrifices 😂
Good video
That would also teach kids about empathy, kindess and sone social skills. Also, that there are other jobs arround (not just being "influencer"
In places like Australia, everyone should carry with them a snake anti-venom kit when hiking. The snake anti-venom kits should contain vials for the most common type of snake that you may encounter.
This isn't possible for a number of reasons unfortunately
@@jakeharfield8516 Why is it not possible? Instead of making up your own useless sound bite, give me one reason why it's not possible to carry an anti-venom kit.
@@redblade8160 Here's a few very obvious reasons if you're averse to using Google or thinking critically: It has a short shelf-life and usually requires storage at a specific temperature, it's expensive, no one can reliably identify species and apply the correct antivenom in the correct dosage, antivenom commonly results in further complications like allergic reactions that can be worse than the venom itself (especially in a dry bite scenario).
@@redblade8160 Two reasons: complexity and cost. Administering intravenous antivenom is too complex for laypeople, let alone first aid volunteers. For the lone patient, even if trained to a first aid level, they're likely to be too panicked to be able to do it effectively. Whether it's the patient or someone else, though, administering the antivenom incorrectly will waste time, help the venom to spread and will create complications like pain and bruising all the way up to serious infection. Then, if the patient is allergic to antivenom (which almost no patient will know beforehand), administering it outside of a clinical setting is likely to kill them. Beside the complexity, the cost of antivenom makes it prohibitive. It costs hundreds of dollars for a few millilitres. That's just not practical for the vast majority of people. Better to perform the correct first aid techniques, which will allow the patient to get to hospital and receive antivenom at no cost.
The reasons why us Aussies don’t carry snake antivenom is for one, what snakes are we expected to come across? If there is a variety of snakes in a certain area, this could cost thousands. How do we administer to antivenom? And lastly, antivenom should be refrigerated. There are probably more reasons than mentioned though. As an Aussie, we are always advised to carry snake bite kits which are just bandages for compression of bite site and immobilisation
It looks really cool🎉
The dog did what dogs do when they sense danger, trouble. Good doggo!
Excellent idea for a hands on training program for youngster.
The dog is a hero for raising the alarm
wait the venom travels differently through the body if you are not in Australia?
What if you are Australian but in another country?
No it’s only because of the type of snakes in Australia.
@@Wowzur Lmao
Although the intent of this video is for a particular audience, the reach of the video is obviously worldwide. It is negligent to not include information as to what type of snake bites the treatment is and is not for.
Australian snakes, for bites in Western Australia. It was mentioned at the beginning of the video. But yes, everyone could seek out LOCAL advice from their medical or first aid provider. In the US for example, one highly regarded institution advises to wash the area with soap and water, which is handy and very cheap. Stay well, and avoid snakes if you can.
great if you have an EpiPen
Why don't you start bandaging higher up the bite site coming down past the bite site to stop the venom that's already traveled up?
Blood travels down as well.
i am not breathing, can you perform cpr on yourself? /
