Professors Past Life: Richard Chapman| WashU
As a first-year student at Washington University in St. Louis, Sanchali Pothuru took an introductory screenwriting course taught by Richard Chapman, a senior lecturer in film and media studies in Arts & Sciences. She still remembers the first assignment.
“We were supposed to think of people in our lives and then write a character based on them,” Pothuru said with a smile. “I used my dentist.”
But as a sophomore and multimedia intern in University Marketing & Communications, where her credits include videos on the history of WILD and students studying Shakespeare abroad, Pothuru found herself contemplating another character: the professor himself.
A Hollywood veteran, Chapman has produced hundreds of hours of network television as well as the feature films “My Fellow Americans” (1996) and “Live From Baghdad” (2002), and the documentary “Dateline-Saigon” (2020). In “Professor’s Past Life: Richard Chapman,” which Pothuru filmed and produced over the last year, Chapman describes how he broke into the business, the challenges of bidding wars and the mysterious interplay of luck and hard work.
“He’s a great storyteller,” Pothuru said, “whether on or off camera.”

I love hearing about Edgar Allen Poe even though I haven't read much of his work yet (really need to finish that book I have of his complete collection lol) because one of my great x3 or 4 grandfathers was best friends with him in high school. They became pen pals afterwards. It's also a bit funny because my aunt was high school best friends and now pen pals with the author of 50 Shades of Gray 😂

Ah. I did a seminar on the topic... The answer is hard to determine since according to the psychoanalytic research Frankenstein and his creation are a mirror of each other... So it is quite difficult to determine who is the bigger monster. However monstrosity comes in many forms... For example the court system, humans and the religious system has shown a form of monstrous attitude. Frankenstein's creature had no chance from the start because of his looks, mankind judged him only because of his physical appearance and caused him great offenses. The only one who didn't judge the creature was an old blind man because he couldn't see how he looks like. The creature's first victim was Frankenstein's brother whom the creature framed Justin for the murder. Justin was trialed and executed on the basis of circumstance evidence. Right before her execution a minister of the church told her if she won't confess her "crime" she will be denied absolution... Naturally she didn't confess because she didn't comitt the crime... We all have a human side and a monster side in us

Question. Is this what you’re talking about? I was randomly told that cancer can not survive in an alkaline environment. I started drinking alkaline water. I am on chemo for lung cancer metastatic to bone. I missed 3 of my 6 treatments of the first round due to flu/covid/flu. At the scan after the round, they said there was cancer still but no tumors. Surely 3 treatments would not have such a remarkable effect?

So ironically I’m blind but not colourblind lol.

Im no doctor but i saw a video about a girl who mixed baking soda with molasses to get ride of her cancer. She was saying cancer couldn't survive in an alkaline body and baking soda can destroy it. In order to get the cancer to consume the baking soda she mixed it with molasses because cancer wants sugar and molasses is not normal sugar. She also got alkaline test strips or something like that to make sure her ph stayed between 8 and 8.5 because 8 is where cancer starts to die but above 8.5 is bad for the body. She tested her saliva and urine everyday to make sure it was right and decreased or increased the amount of baking soda mixed in according to the results. Some days she did 1tsp and the most she did was 2 tsp i believe. I think she did it for 11 days and when she went back to the doctor for a scan the cancer was gone. Don't take my word for it though. Do some research. I had cancer myself and am a 24yr survivor. I take baking soda regularly just because it helps me not be bloated. I didn't know about it helping with cancer until recently . Bless you and your family.

CZcams obviously isn't the place to discuss unified field theory, but I'm completely confused by the plate example at 1:47. "If Newton and Einstein are right, nothing should happen"??? As far as I know, gravitational attraction as demonstrated by Cavendish does exist, and if Newton and Einstein are right, a small plate suspended by an infinitely fine thread is attracted to the large plate according to GmM/r^2, changing the suspension angle vs. separation by a tiny amount. Gravity may be "so weak" but it isn't absolutely zero. I'm not feeling educated yet.

Western medicine is sooo behind the eightball. But wait, We don't have parasites in America!! We are a developed country 😂. But go to your local farm store and see what antiparasitics are sold for the animals!! Why are the animals being treated for parasites that don't exist in America? . And if they do exist, which they most certainly do. Then most everyone has parasites. All those stomach bugs... Parasites!! Look at the video : video proof cancer is caused by parasites. Why are Drs not taught about parasites in America? For a dam good reason. They don't stay wealthy from the healthy!!

@@brentflowers7612 This is not advice and I am not a doctor, but I came across a video of a man who treated his dogs oral tumor with something similar. To reform what you are suggesting, the idea would be to use a glucose to draw the calcium bicarbonate into the cells as the cancer cells thrive on sugar and this would draw the calcium bicarbonate in with it to starve these cells. In treating my cat, I use a 3 ounce :1 ounce ratio of molasses and baking soda respectively with 4 - 6 ounces of hot water. I heat the water and molasses up to where it bubbles but not necessarily a raging boil, then I add the baking soda. There will be a reaction where the mixture bubbles seemingly out of control (this does not happen when everything is cold). I then turn the heat off and stir the bubbles away and let the mixture cool before consumption. While the ratio as it stands could be consumed twice a day by an adult human, I adjust the dose for my cat accordingly. Nothing is guaranteed, but it sure doesn't hurt to try. In the video, the dog's tumor which is similar to my cat's, was reduced beyond visible detection over the course of months.

They even directed him to read more modern and accurate scientific readings. Why is it so hard to find people who actually read the book and understood it... Everyone seems to try to make it a foreward thinking sci fi but its simply not. It doesnt need to be that be a good read.
