If the dog is registered in the AKC or CKC, it's purebred. In Canada, it's illegal to say the dog is purebred and not provide registration papers.

Wrong. I have had shih tzu’s whole life. They are great. Any dog could be aggressive if they are not trained well. They also don’t bark a lot, only when someone comes to the door, not sure what the heck you’re talking about.

Scientifically, dogs cause serration (hormone) and they can sniff it. I helps people feel much better, and also helps certain diseases get better control!! I have seizures, and my neurologist told me to get a dog for support, and it actually helped my seizures!! Great video!!!

I’ve got a wee yorkie, she lies on the sofa beside me and takes up most of the seat and she sleeps beside me on the bed and takes up most of the bed, but I hate it when she jumps down to sleep on her bed at the side cause during the night I love half wakening and giving her a wee clap

Shih tzus are i credibly aggressive, stubborn, and very stupid. I love our family dog but my god.. you need to be prepared to dumb everything down to the lowest denominator, and even then they will just stare, and then go violently attack someone's feet for fun.

we had a Maltese for 19yrs. She was a great dog. She minded, was easy to travel with. Way a loving dog. We decided after a few yrs, we've now got a new Maltese puppy. She is so loving, even as a puppy. Very playful. Starting to work on different training. Get one if you want a great companion.

Everything in this video is true from my lifetime experience with dogs. However I want to point out that a dog can show aggression towards someone who fears them. While a dog can sense a "bad" person through scent, behavior and body language, a person that fears a dog can trigger a dog to dislike that person. A fearful person may or may not be a bad person. This is my opinion from my experiences with dogs for many years. Fear accompanied by moving away from a dog can trigger prey drive and cause the dog to chase after the person. Basic psychology is we do not like what we fear hence we do not like the dog if we fear him. Maybe the dog on an instinctual level sees a fearful person as prey and/or the enemy. After all if you trust me and have good intentions you probably would not fear me. Of course a dog operates with instincts mostly however I am explaining it in human terms also. I focused on fear here however there is a lot more to this subject. For instance directly staring at a dogs eyes is considered an aggressive challenge. Look at human boxers before a fight. They directly stare at eachother as if to say I challenge you.

I’ve got a dachshund and while he loves people food, he has had HGE and recently, pancreatitis…/ inflamed intestines… he almost died twice…. And so… I’ve learned my lesson…. Thousands of dollars later… he’s doing very well… no treats, no people food… and his personality is back… it was so scary.. the 2 incidents were about 1.5 years apart… he loves cheese, beef, chicken, pizza toppings, etc… but it’s too fatty and salt laden… our puppies are too precious to have them fight for their lives… so stressful…..

I am sorry but this not true I owned my Maltese for almost 5 years she is the best loyal dog out there she rarely barks she only barks when she hears something strange even though she is a mixed I would say Maltese is a great breed but u need to train them properly.

Dogs are a labor of love of the purest form. Nothing worth doing is easy or as rewarding as having dogs.

My Dog definitely sleeps with me and she sleeps just like a human with her head on my pillow. I can't imagine a night without out her next to me. when I feel her paw resting on my arm is so amazing to me. .
