I felt the pain at the end with the POMPANO guys it happens they are great fighters they all fight so different one of my favs to hunt anyways great fight guys and video and a memory that lasts forever great team work guys keep up the great work we willl cross paths one day i need to come up that way more often stay safe
Yeah, they have been up west for the last couple of weeks and saw so many but I'm leaving the island soon so I gotta wait another year:( You should come down here on a calm cloudy day that's when they are feeding down here at Daniels Head
That was a nice sesh! The big school of bar jacks can be a real pain at times. They are super selective. Black grouper at any size are a nice catch imo.
Yeah we had a couple days where the jacks just don't hit, action is dying down now for them anyway
Hey how you doing man? I'm having a sucky summer, did a charter/head boat the other day, got one small cod and threw up the whole time, thought of you lol.

Hot bite indeed! You have to catch the African pompano when they're hungry. I've had the same luck with them this summer :(
Yeah they are around the west end right now, I have seen 5 in the last week or so and I plan on going back out for them once the wind switches up and dies down a little bit.

What lures do I need to catch bone fish will a shrimp lure work
Yes preferably 3 inches and under, i have some vudu shrimp and i use my fly rod but bait always works the best - squid.

Seems simple but it was squid, use a small hook and you gotta be stealthy

Bermuda, this was one of the bays there, unless you live here its called somerset long bay

It was on bait, they've been more finicky this summer. I did sight-cast it at least they don't often find set baits, they are more eyes than scent.

"Hookup lures bonefish bucktail" I don't use them often but I caught a 15lb hog on one once

Nice vid my friend, night time filming is hard, maybe put the Gopro on a tripod nearby with a light and film the fight from that angle. use voice commands to start recording. easier when you have a buddy. Be down in oct planning on fishing Daniel's Head, i'll hit you up. peace

How you catch those snappers they never bite
We used squid and got lucky if you want a good shot at one use fry or pilchard at night, tbf this is the worst time of year aswell they go crazy in the summer:)
