Sorry thats what I know, but you can try it. I haven't try it for myself yet.

All sublimation is transparent if you don't have a white background on dark colors it will just blend with the dark colors I've tried it.

There is a video I saw she used white HTV, sprayed a little bit of water on the surface the put the white HTV let it dry before putting your design. Thats my next plan to do, I just run out of glass chopping board. 😊

I only have the regular size of paper 8.5 x 11" what I did I printed just the extra space and attached to regular size paper so that it will cover the whole mouse pad. Thanks

Are you using permanent vinyl for the design to etch? For the color you can wipe the excess color on the surface thats no etched part.

And I used Armour etching cream so far I dont have a problem with it.
