RockRabbit's recipe for the lightest Tele Bridge is simple. Start with a solid chunk of aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum and then start cutting away with our CNC vertical mill. What's left is an Aluminum Telecaster Bridge Plate that weighs only 28 grams! That's LESS than HALF of a factory steel bridge plate. Please check our website for availability! rockrabbitguitars.com/shop/aluminum-telecaster-b...

How to: Installing a Bigsby B70 Vibrato Tailpiece
zhlédnutí 164KPřed 10 lety
We're installing a Bigsby B70 Vibrato on an ES339 Semi-hollowbody and thought that people might like to watch along how we do it. It's important to always find the actual centerline of the guitar and not just trust where the factory holes are drilled! Fender Esquire by RockRabbit, Seymour Duncan BG1400
zhlédnutí 10KPřed 10 lety
Our T-type R guitars are how we think of taking a classic Fender Telecaster and getting it ready to race. Imagine stripping all the unnecessary parts off- anything that doesn't make music- and then optimizing the pieces left for maximum tone and fidelity. Like sending your Tele to boot camp, you'll have a lean, mean rockin' machine. A blue-collar, beer-drinking workhorse that sounds like a mill...
Custom Epiphone ES339, inspired by Chris Cornell
zhlédnutí 29KPřed 10 lety
Our very first CZcams demo from RockRabbit Guitars! To fans of Chris Cornell, like myself, this guitar's inspiration should be obvious. But, I also wanted to do something a little different than you might find elsewhere. So, I started with the smaller body size of the 339 and changed to the TV Jones Filtertron pickups. These TV's go from a hot telecaster-y sound in the bridge to a full and warm...
That was very helpful, Thank you.
If i send you a block of aluminum can you make me one?
the earth pole, how did you mention it?
Buy the American made B7 instead of the Korean version B70 which has no roller bearings.
I got one of your Tele control plates with the slanted center switch slot; fit perfectly! Shipped to Canada in a jiffy.
It’s like all this time and effort it to showing all the bad ass super high end equipment, doesn’t matter if you can’t play.
This look like a 'Dogfart' vid
Man, that green finish is beautiful.. I've never even look at a green guitar.. but that is just stunning
I have it coming Monday. This helps.Vibramate will be good.
thanks a lot, i follow this methode, on my epiphone sheraton ii pro, and works good... czcams.com/video/ViZ6GBuBMj0/video.html
Mmmm, ma lo stesso Chris Cornell che aveva una Gretch?
Better than alder body?
I use the eric johnson bridge staggered alnico 5 pickup 6.5dc with the slowhand flat pole neck & middle also 6.5 dc . They replaced my fender 69 customshop set
Nice guitar
That refinish looks great! Did you sand down to the wood or just take some thickness off of the poly and rough it up? I’m thinking about refinishing my Casino but I don’t know how far to sand.
I''d love to know as well.
How are these different from noiseless?
This guitar will not stay in tune with a fixed bridge : you have to have a roller bridge or a bridge which has the abbility to tilt a tiny bit forward and backward .
Pretty cool!
czcams.com/video/rBtoTfb1Hcg/video.html
i bought a bigsby from ebay not exactly a bigsby for a electric guitar i made. had 2 adjust the neck and all. i like it but that spring makes so tight it seemed to long? so for now i put in between to boards and parked my car on it. to let it set for a day/ hopefully that will work.
That green..
Why would you drill the holes when vibermate has solved that problem?
the vibramate apparently only fits the bigsby b7 so no solutions for us with low budgets 😂
@@keski56 I believe vibermate does makes their systems for every bigsby model
Is there a problem with something being made in Indonesia?!
You shouldn’t have to drill anything. There is a kit that uses the existing holes to mount to.
Oui mais c'est moins beau !
Wow, that is what I am looking for. Lots of versitility. Thanks for showing it.
you guys and your calipers...lol
RockRabbitGuitars.com doesnt even have a picture of a guitar on the site (except for a picture of a Telecaster on the basic Bitch Guitar button) - WTF
Brilliant!!! the centering instructions were the thing that always messed me up if neck already had holes THANKS SO MUCH!!!
Went to the web site. Saw no kit and the screws listed do not state titanium. No guitars either. O.o
How do the filtertrons fit in a humbucker slot?
TV Jones makes them in standard HB size.
Lil’ sloppy chops
Where were you 30 years ago? I did this 30 years ago using woodworking hardware. This system of mounting the bolt on neck works fantastic. It's hard to overtighten the neck. That's how I had to repair my Strat, my cousin overtightened the "bolt" (a wood screw) & stripped out the wood. My repair has held up so well, I did it to all my guitars. Being retired Naval Aviation this is better hardware than I used! As Nike says, "Just Do It".
Any chance you can post the components and design of that fixture you used on the drill press...that would be very handy to have. Thanks
Thats why you can use it in your nuclear submarine....LOL...Thanks Great Craftsmanship...
What insert and screw are you using for a Fender bass?
I need this .. rock rabbit seems like a really cool company
Arjan Industries manufacture components like Compression Limiters & Threaded Inserts as per requirements ( Drawing) www.arjanind.com
Perfection
Why is this guy talking to us like we are total morons? Also, terrible choice of color.
you just left the holes unfilled....
Mind sharing what the Bigsby setup on it is? I have a 339 I want to put a Bigsby on, but everyone says the B7 won’t fit. How did you get it to work?
If someone off camera is holding a family member at gunpoint, making you do this video, blink twice.
Did it confirm that the twang comes mostly from the bridge plate?
i feel like this still sounds pretty twangy to me
good idea..checking 1st d guitar with a string if endpin is centered before buying B7 type trem., if not, best is B5 (horse shoe type trem). not even original bigsby package is complete. it shld have an adaptor in d package for d mechanisn so drlling is not necessarily applied w/c i dont like doing to my guitar. Adaptors for B7 & horse shoe type is sold separately, go to sweetwater or amazom, search vibrato mounting. i have ordered coz im having my les paul modified by a luthier
Sweet guitar... HOWEVER, saying Ted Nugent had feedback problems is like saying Shaq had height problems.
I'love bigsby
Very good but I don't like the hole that you see under the bigsby
Bitch sounds purty damn cool! Nice playin, as well
The guy look tiny
Great vid. Just subscribed.cheers
