Looks wise my uncles relatives they don't look like bengallis and more have Pnar Khasi looks..And culture wise worship of Ma Jainteshwari, love for Jadoh which is cooked in our home occassionally and often once in a year visit to Nartiang to seek blessings..However like nearby communities we have also assimilated into the culture of Barak valley...Unfortunately, And I regret to say this cultural awareness and customs are disappearing fast from my generation. I might be misfit 😂 community wise

khasi people haven't own scripture culture and religion. in India they got tribal tag because of vote bank. Meghalaya is Hindus Jain Buddhism Sikhism only. but because Bangladeshi khasi maximum area was looted by converted Christian fake tribal community. We want Justice for right
Hindus, Jain, Buddhism and Sikhism in Meghalaya are mostly practiced by dkhar people ( Aryan) who were brought by British in 19th and 20th century. Indigenous people Khasi and Garo have ancient beliefs in animism from thousands of years and some of them still practice these beliefs although majority have become Christian. Some indigenous people follow Hinduism like Rabha, Hajong tribes and a few Pnar people in Jaiñtia but for the other religions you mentioned none of them are indigenous to Meghalaya tribal people just like Christianity
their face is similar to like the face of Indonesian / Malaysian.Minang kabau's people are also a dish dance culture

Bangladesh kicked out Chakma people from Chittagong. Now they are refugees in Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. But there also they get into confrontation with the local tribes like Mizo and Arunachali tribes

It a painful to see our Khasi in Bangladesh. I suggest the Presbyterian church of India and Catholic Church to start initiative action to financial support them like school facilities based on mother tongue ,basic medicinal facilities for survival of Khasi community in Bangladesh
