Thank you for the great teardown video. Did you happen to see if they included a diode bridge on the input so it can handle batteries with opposite polarity? I realize it should be unnecessary given the mechanical battery keyonf, but the reason I ask is I've seen videos of where people have modified Milwaukee batteries to fit this Dreme. This is something I'd like to do as well since my Dremel charger broke but Dremel and Milwaukee batteries have opposite polarities when in the same orientation so I'm hoping to confirm I won't blow anything up when I plug it in before I plug in a Milwaukee battery.

It is an explosion proof ceramic sand filled fuse . I have had 3 of these P98674's and they really aren't bad DMM's. One thing I wish it had was a place to keep an extra fuse. I was doing some work in Northern Arizona when I had a fuse blow and there wasn't a single one around no place to find a replacement so I had to drive back to the valley and pick up a replacement in Mesa Arizona. It was a lot of driving just to replace a fuse and it wound up costing more than a fuse like diesel fuel , lots of time and a motel room

Unfortunately it's been a problem with the M12 rotary tools, if you use them for long periods of time or at high speeds under load they tend to "burn out" I've replaced mine twice already and it's still not 3 years old. Be interesting to see if the new Fuel model stands up better. If you only use it for very short periods with only very easy cutting/grinding it's great, but it can't take extended use or cutting under load for long.

Good on YOU BRO!!!! Your review must have changed their minds on what they put out. I just bought mine and it came with the adjustable trolley for the plasma cutter, also, they sent my TIG torch out with a very flexible hose like you suggested, same red color and all, but integrated it with the T4 trigger as well as covered it in the zipper heat shield. I can wrap it around my arm and hand easily and weld as I wish to. Your review must have touched them, because my new Power Pro 164Si is remarkably easy to handle and weld with. Kudos to your review and the manufacturer in making the changes for us that want a light duty welder. This is a most excellent review and thank you for changing their minds. By the way, mine now costs $1475.00 delivered, probably due to what you have said, but well worth the price in the upgrades. Thanks again!!!!

Wow, that CEN-TECH autometer is either damaged or severely out of calibration. The accuracy spec on the 20Vdc range is (0.8%+5). I'm reading that as 0.8% of the voltage plus 5 times the resolution, which is 0.1V on this scale. So your maximum value you should measure for a 15.25V voltage is approximately 15.88V. Something is very wrong if you are reading 21.0V.

Love how they sand the chip nomenclature off so you can't replace it. Typical Bosch. My Dremel broke after a couple of hours. If I had known it was a Bosch product I wouldn't have bought it. Bosch used to be a great company and made dependable stuff but then the bean counters took control and it was all downhill since then. Yellow paint. WTF. Did they sand the numbers off of the FETs too?

Exactly what I was looking for as I want to wifi enable a 10 channel laser fixture... I'm using the old 4MB Wemos D1 mini but of 3 devices 2 stop working after about 15 secs. I reboot then they run for a while. Installation goes per normal, I get an IP via DHCP and can access the UI for a while until it stops responding. Should the firmware (v3.2) run reliably on a 4MB D1 mini

On my steering wheel I have only one button that shows a tiny bit of wear (it’s hard to notice but defects like that really stand out to me) but wanted to protect it from further damage. After opening I got my replacement stickers I see instructions say to remove the rest of the original material off the button before replacing it with the sticker that will become semi permanent. My question for you is can I leave the material on there and place this sticker over it or would that damage the material on the button and also make these sticker not useful?

Depends what you are using it for. If it's low voltage as in under 50v it's probably fine. I would trust the leads up to about 120v but even though they are cat 2 rated I would not use it 220v or higher personally. I have seen some of these budget meters explode and injure the technician even when using with within its rated voltage and amperage rating.

The intend was not to compare it to a fluke as if it were a competitor. I used the fluke as a standard or baseline since it's the most accurate thing I have and is current on calibration to see where the Centex meter sits accuracy wise out of the box. Some folks blindly trust a meter out of the box, which could get them hurt.
