CarLock is a real-time tracking system that monitors your vehicle and alerts you directly of suspicious activity even if you are halfway around the world!
The device monitors the vehicle and alerts owners on their phones if their car is moved, when the engine starts, if any unusual vibration is detected, and even if the device is disconnected. An easy-to-manage tracking device helps keep vehicles protected from any location. Plugged directly into the car’s diagnostic port, it then communicates messages with the cloud-hosted server, the CarLock Cloud. From here, car owners can use their laptops, smartphones or tablet devices to track the location and movements of their car simply and easily.

Hi, the device works in Australia. It comes pre-configured with a SIM card installed, ready to activate and use. If the SIM card is terminated or needs to be replaced, this can be done by opening the CarLock case. In this case, you'll need a new SIM card and more detailed written instructions we usually provide.

The funny part is "it's time to stop worrying about your vehicle" "make your car safe today" the video is showing a young one, speaks about the emergency brake, show a mother ask if all it's ok but the message at the end is only about the car... wtf... is this video only for ppl who care only about the car? (for some sorts of bad people)
Really? You (Carlock) invest so much money and time in such a device and you don't make it hidden? If the thief throws the device out (and most of them will do it) and steal the car, what was that good for? And don't tell me that bs about theft notification, it's pointless. You, as a client, pay an anual subscription for nothing, because you loose your car when it is robbed.

It says carlock but does it actually lock and or keep the car from starting as a starter interrupter does?
can't the thieves just unplug this from the OBD2 port and it won't send a notification to the owner?
Hi, the device has a backup battery inside, when the device is unpluged the owner is notified with a "device disconected" notification. The battey needs some time to get filled (~3h), so if you buy a new device plug it in and plug it out immediately the battery won't have enough power and won't be able to send the notification.
