    I think the reason why you're not seeing the smoke ring is that they're not using the water to add saturated humidity to the unit, just for extinguishing spent pellets. That steam is absolutely crucial for a proper smoke. Maybe if you add some water initially to the drip tray, it would prime the smoker with the necessary RH earlier in the cook.

I have decided to back to my roots (sorta) and do Beef Jerky Professionally. This VERY THIN Beef Jerky some call "Crisp" is very new to me... Have only had it once and it was Love at first Bite. Finally a Beef Jerky my grandmother could eat... me too, since I have some caps on my teeth... plus it just taste so good... Where in New Mexico did you eat this THIN Beef Jerky? This video is 2 years old... is there anything you'd change or do different? I will check out this meat cutter you have... do you feel it is still the best? Thank you again for sharing this video.

    Huh, so that's what that plastic foot is for. My Beswood came with its own dedicated plastic tray, but this technique would do in a pinch. Thanks! Also, you could have just followed that leftover puck of meat with the next cut of meat and it would have pushed the whole thing through the blade.

    Interesting. I have a Beswood 250-RX and my blade, made by Rasspe in Italy, has two large holes right in the middle of the blade on both sides. It's almost like it was designed for some kind of tool to hook into it and easily remove and insert the blade without tilting and potentially ruining the edge. Unfortunately, they did not include such tool in the kit, so I'm gonna try to see if Rasspe themselves makes that tool.

    ive had one for about a year now and its great. ive done ribs chicken.i do smell a little bit of smoke but not bad at all even with windows closed.you don't see any visible smoke that noticed.i do have the grease pan liners now but have not had chance to use them. yes clean up does take a bit time but not bad.ive done ribs overnight and they turned out fine.i think the probe could be bettter designed. when i cooked ribs overnight i didn't even come close to running out of pellets. overall i am pleased with it. great for winter time cooks when you don't wanna deal with the weather.

    Love mom's New Red potato salad. I remember Grandma and Aunt Diane having a heated discussion of why Grandma boiled the potato's first before peeling. As I was watching this video, I remembered why Grandma did it. She said you wasted too much of the potato by pre-peeling.

      @@cindyreyes6682 I’m surprised she didn’t make em eat the skins so they didn’t go to waste. Technically the skins are the most nutrient rich part of the potato. We’d all be better off eating the potato skin and throwing away the flesh 😂🤣

    My favorite cooking channel. Since retiring this year I have been cooking and watching a lot of videos. My mother was a great cook but I didn't get interested until later in life. I love potato salad of all kinds.

    Maybe all the meat needs to be the same size and thickness that's what I think I just.bought a pittboss pellet vertical smoker for outside but I really want one for. inside

    I haven't had a great-tasting tamale since I was in grade school. My daughter and I are definitely going to make this tamale method and recipe. We are planning to make them for the Christmas holidays. The instructions are the best I have seen. Thank you very much for making this video.

      Manny’s drummer, My Cousin Phil, came across a goldmine box of their studio and demo recordings. I pulled it down so I could do a more thorough video.
