i finished the game without knowing there was a mountain vivarium .
I worked on my room of requirements for about 1 hour before deciding to just do the bare minimum to have my potions
what I truly, truly don't understand is how game studios do those build-your-own-space games and then INSIST on having overly restrictive placement systems. You can do nice things with the RoR, but viviariums are such a pain to decorate because they're so limited. everything is in this strange rotation all the time, objects have visible gaps, and the game will not let you place things where it doesn't want to. And the funny thing is, such systems only lead to one thing - community creating quality of life mods which remove those stupid limitations, proving that they didn't need to be there in the first place. WHY do devs insist on doing things like that? Sims tends to have a similar problem, but somehow Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo don't have this problem. You can do whatever you want with props, even put them directly on paths, or make impossible structures. So it CAN be done.
Sadly I got rid of my account and started again on a new account. Thankfully its given me the opportunity to start a fresh with a new idea. Also sadly I can't link my Ravenclaw WB account with my new account oh well. I meant Wizarding World 😂

The fact that it took 25 minutes just to tour the room makes me only imagine how many hours you have into this! Incredible video! Seriously didnt even know anything like this was possible
And how many houres into the game since you need to unlock all this stuff.
Making the room feels bigger than it actually is by filling with stuff,that's a map game designer mentality,not something that can be done by regular players considering the time and detail.
I wanna make my ROR pretty too but idk if I'm just lazy or overwhelmed 😭😭

It was a pre-order bonus when the game first came out. Doesn't really do much. Just calls out normal Treasure chest locations, which are already easy enough to find on their own.

Very impressive. Loved alot of the design choices you made. For me on the other hand I will never put much stuff in the vivariums since I wanna give my beasts the freedom to roam around and the feeling of being in the wide open wilderness.
Totally valid. I did that on my other play throughs, just wanted to have fun with the designs in this save file.

Beautiful set up and walk through 👏👏👏❤ but i'm getting that same deja vu feeling from watching everyone's Animal Crossing islands during lockdown lolol
while each vivarium here looks really good, the reason for them is to have a living space for the beasts. free spaces are much better for them then castles and tents and so on. i like to give them space to run and fly without hinderance. also, a lot of the beasts here are in the wrong vivarium. the lord of the shore belongs on the coast, as do the hippogriffs

Ok. I'm totally borrowing your design of the room of requirements for my Ravenclaw playthrough with 1 or 2 changes PS how do find the hippogriff and unicorn statues. I found some of the other statues but not the hippogriff nor the unicorn statues. I also haven't found the bookcases

How on earth did you get your secondary room to be that big
The secondary room expanded for me after finishing all the house elf side quests and passing one of the main quest towards the end of the game. Think there are some articles online with more specifics.
@@Archsan ah ok. I’m finishing up the story now actually. Did you find when you beat the story line that you were still entertained with the game
Hmm, yes and no. When I beat the game I spent some time finishing my ROR and vivariums but didn't find much else worthwhile to do in that save file. That being said, I was still really into the game so went back and started 3 new save files with characters in the remaining houses. Had a blast with that and created different personas, looks, and backstories for each character so they reacted to the storyline and quests differently than how I had originally played. Didn't build out my RORs as much for those files, but still really enjoyed the challenge of totally changing the vibe and focus of each ROR based on each character's house. Been a few months since I've played and I'm starting to want to hop in again and keep building out those spaces now that I've had a breather 😁
