From the moment those lip kits were released, I knew that that will only be a passing phase and people will eventually get tired of it - and I was right 😂 On top of that, Kylie's brand is not even the best out there to begin with. It felt like, people are just buying her makeup because of her and not because of the product itself.

I think part of the issue is that her products are mediocre quality and people are over kardashian/Jenner cash grab brands.

I have about “1/3 bottle” left of the Original “Glow”, by “JLo” perfume from 2002. I bought it because I liked HOW IT “SMELLED”….AND BECAUSE IT WAS “ON SALE”!! NOT “because it had ‘her’ name on it!! 😂

First of all (IMHO) - the NAME is terrible! It is trushy. She could not help her narcissism. Rihanna did not name her brand Rihanna or Riri. Selena did not name her brand Gomez. They are smarter than that and they knew that they built their careers on singing, not beauty products. They are not Christian Dior or Coco Chanel. So the beauty products have different name, only loosely associated with the singers (Rihanna) or not associated at all (Selena). It is the same fiasco like when models launch their perfumes. Why should I buy the fragrance if name is only associated with catwalks and fashion?
