You Gabby, unfairly suffered a litany of unjust criticism from within Gymnastic Organization itself and naysayers. But I highly admire the fact you maintained a joyful and cheerful demeanor as always, despite the deep, deep immense, personal pain and rejection you (never publicized but) felt and faced, despite your highly enormous, personal efforts and contributions to Gymnastics itself. Your cheerfulness, maintaining your cheerfulness through atrocious adversity is Christlike. That speaks great volumes in the extremely savage, cruel and selfish medium of sports and notoriety. And that is highly #Inspirational to see you Gabby back again, cheerful, still as always seeking with God’s strength to carry on. I’m so glad for Gabby . I almost started jumping up and down win I found out she was returning . So happy for her . I love Gabby and nothing is impossible if you believe . She still have it although it takes much practice to get back use to it . And age 28 means nothing right now . Her body is adjusting well back to it and she wants this again and I hear the joy and excitement in her voice . So I her all the best and Gabby give it your all . Don’t let anyone shoot you down . I hope gabby Douglas makes it into Paris for the Olympics I miss her she was incredible and extraordinary in 2012 London and 2016 rio I’m so happy she’s back

I am absolutely loving that gymnastics has become not just a sport for little girls, but for adult women. I love Gabby’s buoyancy and that she’s back competing for love of the sport and not for some other reason.

I’ve loved Gabby ever since 2012, she definitely went through a lot during 2016, but I’m so glad that she has grown from the pain, moved on, and become stronger!

I want her to be on the team and damn... she is soooooo happy now. I love it. I thought that she got the wrong end of a stick the first and second Olympics she was in, especially with the racist comments from people, but I am glad that didn't stop her love for the sport. I am here for her return!
