A lot is indeed literary. Was it allegory when Jesus said He would die? And when He said He would rise up on the third day? Or when He said to wait at Jerusalem and will visit the there? How long should I go on?...

Revelation is clear in it's literary and allegorical writing. When it is allegorically written there always is the explanation, just as with the parables. Also Revelation is pure linear, that's why all the outpouring of the wrath of God is linear, first, second, third and so on. It starts with the intro, the warnings, a view into the heavenly, the rapture and sealing of the 144.000 holy ones of Israel, the wrath of God on the unholy, the 1000 year kingdom of Peace, Armageddon and then the last judgment and our final destination. If you think otherwise, please prove me wrong with the Bible, not your way of thinking.

Our paths crossed only for a short time as fraternity brothers at UNM but I always enjoyed being around Anthony and have never forgotten him. His performance of All Along the Watchtower during Greek Week and our celebration after is one of my greatest memories of college. I'm glad I found this and it was moving to watch the entire thing despite not being a religious person myself. R.I.P. my friend.
