Point Pleasant, West Virginia is the site of the elusive Mothman, first seen by local residents in 1966 at the old TNT bunkers located North of the city. Many believe the Mothman had some involvement in the 1967 Silver Bridge disaster. This video shows where the old Silver Bridge was located across the Ohio River (with a few historical photos) as well as an extensive look at the old railroad bridge that was located next to the old Silver Bridge. The last half of the video explores a few of the old TNT bunkers, known as the Mothman's lair.

Are there plans in the works to construct a new bridge across from the Bear Run Road? Could this be the first phase of such project???

For a private collection, it's really neat, with a few aircraft such as the B-17 you can climb into. The best trip for leaf peeping, Bald Knob, is sold out for most of Sept and Oct when leaves usually peak.
