I would say he's not aware of the player,he just feels like he cannot choose what he wants,i mean if i didnt felt like i was in control of my body and choices,and then a creepy puppet told me i am being just like him,i would also freak out and get goosebumps,kris yelling when we select "no" tells me he is terrified of the possibility of being controlled not that he is aware of it,and i think in the future he will break the player's control over him and make his own choices altering the story,the game begins refusing to agnowledge the player's choice of avatar and name,sorry for the long ass text filled with broken english😅

@@kajetus0688 Yeah, I like to think that Kris only has one soul, that being the soul we control. Meaning that if Kris wants to be free of our control, he has to rip his own soul out of his body. Maybe this is a situation like Frisk, where they are a person, but we control their soul without them wanting to. But unlike Frisk, Kris knows that we control him and doesn't like it wich is pretty normal.

@Jack b r u h , did you never understand ? chara is dead just an "innocent" child watching you and only dealing the finishing blow to sans to then get your soul and erase your from this world , and frisk is aware that we are controlling him he's just a "vessel" and he doesn't have anything left off his life and he just doesn't care anymore. That's probably why Frisk never tries to take back his body. he's just a *vessel.*
