I couldn’t find this place. I crossed the dam and turned left and the guard shack . Drive past the camping and pub parking area but never came across this. Do u have grid coordinates or directions to this place ?

This is one of the most beautiful place of Brazil. Near Lençóis Maranhenses there are Parnaiba Delta and Jericoacoara beautiful places also.

This was my favorite hike. I believe legend is that this is the jumping off point for Hawai’ian souls, as they “jump” to the afterlife. It is sacred ground.

I went up an old path near the big waterfall when I was there in 2008 and saw a nice top down view from up close. Although it is pretty old, not maintained and grown in a bit. So you have to really take note of it, but it is there and at the time was usable. A steep climb though.

Love your video 👍we were there Dec 22 2023 and took 15hrs round trip cuz my bf knees gave out already b4 the steep climb 🙏 he was a trooper he didn’t complain a bit and took us 15hrs to complete the hike. You captured every gist of the hike! We had no pokes (duh) but very essential. i totally underestimated the hike but magical abd surreal when you reach the top!
