FYI this model is NOT from 1972…. This was one of very first plastic based convertibles debuted U4119 in 1978 along with its sister model the green hooded U4127…. The number 72 you see is just part of the serial number off the assembly line… in 1972 they were still making the convertibles with the metal bases and fans. The plastic convertibles came out in 1977/1978 and remained all plastic based til the end of the convertible residential series in 1992. I really went through a rough times and and one of my longtime high school lady friend. I used to go to lunch with and used to go hang out with her in the hallways and in assemblies, I used to go with Danielle was a former friend of mine and when I was in college, I had to cut ties with her during in 2018 because she’s been doing cocaine and she’s been doing drugs and started drinking liquor and vodka and her mines got really messed up and she snort she snort on cocaine with a dollar bill at a college party one time and I was really really upset when I have to go have a talk with her during 2018 and I have to go confront Danielle Ball that time over at a college party and guess what she’s been snorting cocaine on the table and she’s been drinking liquor and I got so angry at 19 years old and and she was saying as well Marshall, do you want to do it with me and what I said no to that and I left and went back home on Wednesday, May 22 2018

My favorite older Hoover vacuum would be the Mrs. Doubtfire one in the other Hoover. I love is the tan grip part on the handle. I love older late 80s 90s Hoovers

Looks like a Sanitaire S661 from the early 2000's if you're interested in what year its from look at the bottom of the vacuum there should be a label with a serial number and the first two digits of the serial number represent the year. The thing with these compared to the red sanitaires was that they were sold as a residential vacuum but built like a commercial sanitaire the only difference is a shorter cord I believe 35 feet instead of 50 feet and no grounded plug.

I really had to claim the dirt out of my brush roll on the Eureka the bods plus hardbody box upright vacuum I had to clean the brush rolls from those liver caring the bearings, were in good good shape, but there are some dirt kind of clogged in there. I have to clean it out with the shot vac in. Also, I have to clean the brush roll out of it. I have to check there were something wrong with my 1996 Eureka, the boss plus

Vaseline dose not take heat that well that it just melts away and dry up and wd40 removes grease from the bearings

All that built up dirt made it go out of balance

I remember them days flipping through a KMart sales paper when they sold the Bravo II Precision and the Bravo II Rally which is a navy blue soft bag, along with the Eureka (Victory) Precision Boss in the late 90's including the Hoover Elite Runabouts models.

Nice video. Interesting vacuum. I tried making a vacuum video with my Bissell Powerlifter swivel. It didn't work out.

The Powerforce is still alive today, and it was Samsung who was able to bring that and the Powerglide into the American market in the early 2000's. Bissell and Samsung broke up in 2015 because it turns out Bissell got involved with Midea. I had lied on Vacuumland and said their break-up was due to the Galaxy Note 7 blowing up in your pocket like a terrorist.

I remember my mom owning a blue 10 amp model she got brand new in mid-2000 until my oldest sister blow the motor out in early 2004 when her and my mom cleaning out our old place and replaced it with a Dirt Devil Swivel Glide.

My Auntie used to have one of These glad I grew up with this vacuum

I put new motor brushes and bearings in mine and cleaned the motor windings and the motor brushes had to be soldered in and I extended the life of it and oiled and greased the wheels outer moving parts

I was 18 years old when I used to own a blue Bissell power groom, 3000 upright vacuum cleaner and I think I bought that vacuum probably at a garage sale or could it be I think I trash picked it one time during my senior year and and I actually did fix it and I used to fix it so many times and the motor was really loud to it and it wasn’t that bad but also when 2017 came during my senior year back in May before I graduated. The vacuum really just had a burning headlight. It started flash one time and it was started a spark up and I really have to end up throwing away and I really love it that machine so much and I think I got it and I found it out of a trashcan during in 2015 during my junior year at 17 alsoI really miss having my blue bissell power groom 3000 upright vacuum cleaner from 1997

I used had a blue bissell power groom 3000 hardbody box upright vacuum was from 1997. I used to own that machine back in high school and I bought it at the garage sale one year and the motor started to fry up in the year of 2017 that year and the power switch blew out when i turned it on it started to burn up in the smoke one time my mom made me throw it away that year back in may
