"The Doors: Mr. Mojo Risin' - The Story of LA Woman" She Smells So Nice Lyrics Man, the first woman knows she smells so nice and she looks so good I gotta zip up once or twice well I've been down up and up up and down in 99, but I love my woman Like the sun goes up She's the sweetest little woman when she wakes up come on, now right Now you walk around and you thinking that you're so though I s...

The Doors Live concert in Boston 1970.
Wow
Genius. What a moment in time to go back to.
God bless Mr. Ray Manzarek
I think a lot of brains are squirming like toads in today's reversal world of everything the original Hippies stood for back in the 1960s. Instead of Utopia we now have Dystopie.
Just a boat anchor, and a dead end job. Nothing musical about this garbage.
I've lived in Paris and in the Venice Canals... and loved the Doors history to be felt in both places... but sitting here with Ray for 10 minutes beats all of that.
Fuck
THE classic surf song in my head. Ray hears thunder and rain, but I visualise booming, breaking rollers and spume blowing off-shore off peaking crests. Too old to surf, but this will haunt me until I wipeout.
I feel sorry for generations, before and after, that didn't get to live music like this, and so many other things of that time, in the moment.
One even keel dude
How good was that!
The origin story kind of this track unmasks the process and makes it less compelling. I guess they always say: never meet your heros.
Wrong, actually he witnessed a car crash when he was a kid. It haunted him his whole life.
He always reminded me of Copeland but on keys. Great mind great artist.
Wonderful stuff!! I always associated the lyric with the Manson family and those murders. I bought this on a Doors album called ‘weird scenes inside the goldmine’. A wonderful double album.
This is what’s missing in the music of today is skill with talent, And knowledge about music in general
A true master
I've listened to this song a thousand times but you can't really appreciate the artistry behind the music until you witness it being played.
There was a far Darker meaning to "The Rider in the Storm " It wasn't about no Car driver
i want to put this much work into every song i make !
Very comfortable sound of his keyboard.
Jim might have been the poetic genius but Ray was the musical genius of the Doors
I still remember the first time I heard this come over the radio as an 8 year old kid. I was sitting alone in the lounge room, the lights were dimmed, and it was the spookiest and most magical thing I had ever heard. After it finished I went into the family room and my older brother was sitting around watching TV and I said to him "I've just heard this amazing song...something about Riders On The Storm", and he just casually goes "Oh yeah that's The Doors." And I said "It's amazing!", and he's just like "Yeah it's good". And I was was getting frustrated with him failing to get sufficiently excited by it and how casual he was. I guess that's why I ended up becoming a professional musician and he became an accountant. For some people, music has a transcendental life changing power. For others, it's just a bit of fun now and again.
R.M.11 years since this was post 2024 .I don't belive J.M die . is hard to me understand he die I never see him in su caja de muerto.no pictures jim desapareció no clue ...........jim.we love you
Where did this video come from ? Did you record it ? how ? Were you just chillin' around where Manzarek lived?
How that must feel to reach an advanced age and have been so intimately involved in something so archetypal to our culture.
IT ALL SEEMS SO EASY! FOR A MASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incredible so cool
While I was stationed in Germany back in 91 I took a trip to Paris and visited Jim Morrison"s grave. Alot of people there partying and listening to the Doors music.
I’ts really not that difficult to play on a basguitar. Great song though! ✌🏻❤️
Just made me smoke another joint...yeah
"He knew he was going to perish"
Wonderful
0:55 words that I ahev never heard before, yet they are so true
Thank you for sharing a secret...
Watching this made me tear up. It is a beautiful piece of art. But hearing him explain in detail the creation of this song is so amazing. And the loss of Ray is such a loss for humanity. Rest in Peace Ray. You are a legend, and will never be forgotten. 🥰🥰🥰
I watch this when I need some happiness
Fuck CZcams & fuck their ads.
The nonstop run on ads are RUINING CZcams!
Amazing to hear about the background and making of this great song. Love it.
i wish i could watch him do whatever this is forever
I saw a video of "Strange Days". People said Ray did the video. Does anyone know if Ray also shot videos?
Они отдельно от всех.
He makes this song like a 2 hour movie ❤
One of the 10 greatest songs ever written❤
I can’t stop watching this!❤
Ray sings like Johnny Cash
Me and my surfer buddies thought this was our anthem in the 60s - driving up and down Florida's east coast looking for waves. Incredible mood to this song. Thanks for such a wonderful creation
Magical. Thank you.
Ray was a great musicmsn
