Calming Waves of the La Roche Qui Pleure in Mauritius
"La Roche Qui Pleure" translates to "The Rock That Cries" in English. There is no reef protection on this side of Mauritius so the waves of the Indian ocean are freely crashing into the rock giving a majestic look.

We hiked up to Little Black River Peak from Black River Visitors Centre. The hike is pretty steep from this direction with mulitple sections where ropes and chains available. In total it took 3.5 hours to get up to the Peak instead of the anticipated 2 hours. This was due to the heavy terrain. Along with the beautiful scenery there are a huge concentration of stork nests along the road with a tree completely packed with nests at 14:30 of the video. We drove by Mont Choisy and Grand Baie on the 1st day of the Lockdown easing. We have met a lot of police checks and we have even been pulled over for "routine checks". La torre por siacaso... para todos esos manes que quieren viajar en auto propio... y en Juliaca por circunvalación norte, de salida a Puno (por donde estas entrando a la ciudad) volteas a la derecha hacia Av. Tacna pasando por el estadio Guillermo Briceño... saludos desde el Cusco

Thank you very much! The distances in the Pampas are long and mostly boring and unfortunately you got to El Chalten when it was cloudy. The view is stunning. Along the unpaved stretch along lake Cardiel we came across several armadillos. One had been killed by a car. What a splendidly gentle presentation of this lovely village!
