Mary low% in 9:55.64 [Sync WR] - Crypt of the Necrodancer
low% runs are generally slower in synchrony bc they made early trapdoors much rarer x-x
this was a super solid run tho, zones 1 and 2 were good, zones 3 and 4 were ok, and zone 5 was decent. nothing amazing but it was enough to get the sub 10! i believe the sync wr can go down as low as sub 9, but i'm more likely to go back to no sync and sub 9 there first :p

whats funny about this run it's not only the low% wr, but also the any% wr at the time of posting this video lol beastmaster's gimmick is that he transforms into a raging beast whenever he gets hit with a lethal blow, and then transforms back to normal at the start of each floor. the beast form deals 4 damage and can dig tier 2 walls, so it's very powerful and vital to making this run fast. how...

pretty decent time! this is a fun character to do low% imo the gimmick is that your weapon has durability, and if that durability reaches 0 the weapon breaks. using a broken weapon damages you over time, so in a low% run where you can't pick up something new it's generally a good idea not to break the starting weapon. this means that you have to be somewhat clever and resourceful at times in or...

this is honestly not much harder than normal mary low, the no return tile isnt very punishing now that ive done both aria and mary no return low, it's time to combine them and do maria no return low hehehe i also plan to do every extra mode with mary low, so expect that in the future

the first dungeon master low% sub 6, and it's even faster than most any% runs lol im happy to finally be able to check this goal off my checklist! this can definitely go lower, zones 4 and 5 in this run werent perfect, but zone 2 being absolutely insane helped a lot and none of the other zones were bad try the mod yourself: mod.io/g/crypt/m/charpack

finally got a sub 11! unlike my other mary low% runs this one was done without the synchrony dlc, because the synchrony dlc makes it harder to find fast trapdoors this was a very solid run going into 5-3 and then 5-3 was a bit of a shit show. i think with a better 5-3 and a better boss order (coral riff 4 is bad) this couldve been the sub 10 of my dreams. i'm not giving up tho, i know i have wh...

yep! specifically, evil eyes can only hurt the lamb if theyre adjacent to each other, but when they're at a distance like in the video it's completely safe

In NecroDancer logic you can survive a car crash with no harm by consuming a piece of cookie at the same beat (invincibility frame)
