The convivence store was called Dodies, and I lived in that 3 story right next to it.

It’s slowly starting to get better again but will never be the same and most the stores are never open due to staff reasons but there at least getting some more restaurants the arcade is opening one and there is ruby Tuesday that is opening there will probably a lot more for traffic with ruby Tuesday being there
Thanks for watching and sharing!
@@WheresArtyAndTwExplorers your welcome
Bostion?
@@TrafficSignalVideosndTrains42 I think this was in Quincy. Thanks for watching
Whats the intersection @@WheresArtyAndTwExplorers
That section of the mall was the center, there main corridor extended through the tech school and the bowling alley. The anchors were at the ends of the layout where the supermarket and the odd ball shops on the opposite side.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the info! I couldn’t find much history on this
I live on Elm Street right next to it, I never played there but I remember all the kids parking in my neighborhood and walking up to the field for ball games. One of my fondest memories is getting to sit in the big booth above home plate and watching my friend play.
@@DookieStain007 thanks for watching and sharing!
some people debate it's not really the original that would be nice if completely the same somewhere else
Thanks for watching. I too am a little skeptical since I remember the real one was hanging in a mall in Watertown. It would seem wearied thst they would cut it up the way they did
@@WheresArtyAndTwExplorers i remember that in the old arsenal mall one side didn’t really look like that not just the obvious tv cutout
🏴❤️🇺🇸💥🎉
Thanks for watching!
Im gonna sleep now but im gonna think of something stupid to say tomorrow maybe.. 🤙
Yikes! Thanks for watching
I lived nearby Harvard Business School, rather close to the Arsenal Mall. It was a great place, in good taste, drawing from a pool of middle class and upper middle class. Lots of Harvard and Boston University Grad. Students regularly patronized the Mall. In 2002, revisiting Boston , I went to the Arsenal Mall. Don't recall if it was still a thriving, successful comercial center. However, in 2018 I spent a couple of weeks in Boston. The Arsenal Mall was in the process of being transformed into a Residential area and Office Center. Thank you for this video, a trip through Memory Lane.
Thanks for watching and sharing!
Went to Suffolk just about every day when it was open in the 80s, Great track to make money if you knew how to handicap
Thanks for watching. Fun times back in the day there
I always preferred that mall over Manchester, far less crowded. I wouldn't put much faith in Penny's with as many of them that are closed.
thanks for watching. i cant see this mall being around much longer
Wanted to let you know that the developer is going to keep the JC Penny and some of the other shops that have outside entrances. The rest is going to be torn down to make way for the developer plans of a COSTCO and other shops. There is a whole article on this on CZcams.
thanks for watching and sharing!
The food court is almost empty
Thanks for watching. Another mall slowly being lost in time
@@WheresArtyAndTwExplorerstheres only like 2 left up there before it becomes abandoned
Having the same issue with my 2019 rubicon. Dealer says it's the power steering module $2300 fix hopefully that's the problem
Thanks for watching. My dealer thought the same and unfortunately it didn’t do the trick. They need to replace the wire harness. It’s a short circuit and it should be a recall but Jeep know it’s a huge expensive issue and won’t do it
@@WheresArtyAndTwExplorers so my mechanic did not change out the power steering module. He found the wiring harness behind the glove box and showed me all the welds that were cracked. He changed that out. $500 fix instead of a $2,300 fix. So far it's been 4 days and no problems
It's completely demolished now
Thanks for watching. Rip
I love this Ames, I pass by it everyday
Hope it don't I going to 🙏🙏🙏🙏 big time it doesn't close
Same here. The place is amazing
We worked on the Silver City mall not that many years ago.Now its gone. What a waste
Thanks for watching
Thats nothing 😂😂😂
What was the reason for your death wobble? We took ours in & they had to change the steering damper & then all these lights including service shifter have been going off
Thank for watching. Actually the opposite, we think the death wobble contributed to the wire fraying
The poor kid missed decades of dominance. But he has his youth so I think most of us would trade places with him anyways!
Wut 😮
Thanks for watching!
Santa Elevator Express to the North Pole
The anchor store on the left side was Porteous, a dept store.
Respectfully, I think you mistakenly said Newington is *10 miles* west of Portsmouth. Portsmouth is the next town over.
Im 39 years old and spent alot of time here. When you first walked into pirates fun park to the left was the oddesey big yellow dome. The himalaya was i believe to the right, right before the bumper cars. Then all the way back dead center was the fireball. Behind the haunted ride were the bumper boats. I loved it when they had ferris Wheel facing the ocean. Sad, it will never be the same. Also blue ocean music hall used to be an arcade and bumper cars inside, parking across from blue ocean had a haunted house and i think mini golf course. I remember they had the wwf wrestling shows next to the discount store on christys side. 😢
Thanks for watching and sharing. I remember all that! Seems like it was yesterday
MISTAKE IN VIDEO: Union Sq. (D) branch uses Fitchburg line right of way, and the Medford (E) branch runs along Lowell Line right of way.
It used to be a really great mall back in the early 80’s. I think the Papa Gino’s is the only remaining original store. They had a great arcade back then called The Dream Machine, pure 80’s which was right across from the movie theater at the time. Rumford Pet Center was there, Hickory Farms, The Roast House, Chess King. I may be mixing it up with RI Mall (originally Midland Mall) but there was a piano store where there was always a guy playing the piano which you would hear when you walked in.
Thanks for watching and sharing!
Papa Ginos is no longer in there for a few years now
What’s the 3-way…cheese mayo bbq-sauce Or is it beef mayo & bbq-sauce?
Cheese mayo and bbq. Thanks for watching. I can’t do the mayo tho haha
Great work tracking it down 👍👍 i remember seeing it as a kid. If I remember correctly it had Day Industries Toronto on the bottom of it too.
Thanks for watching. If your ever in Boston is next to the AC hotel off I93. It thought to actually get into the lobby but you can see it thru the window
Good beer, I just left there.
Very much agreed
I worked at the original Filene's Basement (1992-1993), which was near the shopping center before they moved it to the temporary location. I would get my lunch from the Stop and Shop, in the shopping center, when there was one in that area. I took the 400-something bus (behind Sears), to Malden station. I believe there was a Pet Centre there in the shopping center, but maybe in the 1980's? I remember the old cinema that closed in 1985. I don't know the details. Although there are no photos available, Cinema Treasure web page (I can't post the link, here) has an interesting discussion about it. I don't know about the shooting you talked about - wasn't that at the nightclub, in 1989? How is the Square One, now. I haven't been there, since 2006. I never liked the mall.
Thanks for watching. I remember the old shopping plaza! The mall is rough these days. Thanks for watching
Ik❤😂🎉🎉😊❤iuilike
Thanks for watching
The amount of people with their wheels not turned properly scares me
Hahahah
this mall is now demolished
For real!!! When that happen. Good thing we got there
I saw you down 495 ❤👍🏽 maybe add a QR code it would be easier to find your channel.
Thanks for finding us! Not a bad idea about the QR code!
I was born in 1960 and my Mother and Grandmother took me to Salisbury and Hampton Beach at least twice a week. I was so Happy going to these beaches. I pratically grew up here. It was sad to see it go down hill but since this video was posted it seems like they have added a lot of new stuff. The Salisbury Discount store was one of my favorite places besides the beach itself where we ate sandy bologna sandwiches and koolaid.😊Some of the best times of my life were on this Beach and Hampton Beach. Love Tripoli's pizza too! So much fun! Thanks for the Great memories🥰🥰❤❤
Thank you for watching!
Been in this area 25 years… seen allot of changes at Edison.. no more Sears, Macys closing… I never go there any more… too dangerous
Thanks for watching
Same issue! I’m 6k into “fixing it” I’m so sick of this! Why hasn’t Jeep figured this out?
I don’t understand either. I had to explain to them what I think it is, it should be a recall. I have traded the 18 in for a 21. At 61k no issues yet knock on wood haha
good vid. 2:19, that's my fav seat at my fav bubble craps in Vegas. People watch along the strip as I'm chilling with my glasses of Bud Light. Sure gonna miss Casino Royale.. I never stayed there but would walk the strip to that lil place. Footlong hotdogs too..
Thanks for watching. Never stayed there either but it’s the last of the old dirty strip casinos. All we have left is this circus circus haha
The Auburn Mall is not dead, you know. I've drove by that mall millions of times and I saw the JCPenney store and rest of the mall still open.
Thanks for watching!
@@WheresArtyAndTwExplorers No problem.
Hi we had one in Victoria B.C. Canada where I live it was only here a few years it closed in the early 1990`s.
Thanks for sharing and watching!
Thanks for the walk back in time..
You bet. Thanks for watching!
there were some closures around 2014-2016, but 2017 was really when the bangor mall’s rapid downward spiral happened
Thanks for watching. I remember being there back in 2007 and it was very busy. The Canadians would come down on the weekends
@@WheresArtyAndTwExplorersyeah I’m from Canada (New Brunswick) Black Friday at the mall used to be so epic
I live and always from Seabrook same as my parents my grandfather said that was built around when he was a little boy early mid 60s
Makes sense. Looks like it hasn’t change since. Thanks for watching.
Looks like you went here during December. This mall is apart of my childhood n will always have a place in my heart with memories.
Thanks for watching. The end near the old Sears was almost completely empty of people
True, be we... can go swimming during winter. 😅 ~ I would love an ice rink to be honest.
I know I know. Haha I’d wouldn’t mind swimming in winter too. Thanks for watching hehe
Id rather not get dizzy and be cold
Being dizzy and cold can be fun
I would rather have Florida’s 75 degree temperature in January than have an ice rink.
Then how will you make ice? Haha thanks for watching
