He giving his blood to Lord Shiva. In from of Abhishekam which is like you’re sacrificing the most valuable thing which is blood to god just for his Grace. The white powder looks like is the Vibudhi. Which is made ashes(only shiva has this type of Vibhudhi) which refers to holy powder. Usually Lord Shiva used to same ashes for his whole body as Shiva lives in Himalayas. These powder makes him more warm in that clod places. That’s holy thing and there is back story that who ever dies after cremation in fire. Their ashes are taken by Shiva. He wore that ashes on his body. Through that all sins of that people will get removed by him. And there are pujas in that some rituals are done with fire. That powder is also holy powder for Hindus. People believe It has power and wore it. So, here after sacrificing his blood to Shiva He got more mental strength to him. Now he wore the powder of Shiva which gives him more mentality of Shiva which destroys the evil. And the Twist of the fighting scene starts from here. There are little grammar mistakes sorry.

how is the scenes in this movie any different from hercules movie. if i recall correctly he lifts a horse battles a lion, and destroy some 100 feet statue. like that movie the character bahubali and bhallaladeva were super humanly strong because of their genes and also they have strength of god shiva,which is not shown but very well implied in the movie. if you want to do more reaction try to enjoy the craft brother, dont focus on physics too much. remember where logic ends drama starts.
