I only filmed a few bits as I was enjoying the concert too much. These are those bits joined together.

A sad night. Nearly ten years on and no replacement track yet although a team has been formed. There are plans a foot for a new track soon. Good luck

Yes, a sad night indeed. I was a fan of the Falcons (off and on) since the 70's and made a point of spectating at that meeting and actually walked round the track after the ceremonies to remember Tony Sandford had finished. I was surprised to see the steepness and varied nature of the banking which I believe was the only banked track in the country. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you for posting the video
RIP Kingsley.
Excellent!
Only a week to go and we will be back.
too cool
ya drivin on the wrong side of the bloody road!

Brings back memories, we did it in July 2007 - in the snow........
Thanks, I'am gone ride it next month
Sorry missed your question.....Its very compacted gravel so you just have to ride a little slower on that bit

Pity I could not be there I had exams :S Participated in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and will be there in 2008 :D
We just took a ride through the pass a few days ago....were totally unprepared for the deep snow and nothing but whiteness at the top, after enjoying a warm afternoon in Bolzano. An attention-getting indoctrination to the Swiss Alps, for sure!
great movie !!
awesome video
Sorry Dan it was never my intention to confuse you....I just felt the song had the rhythm and more importantly the length to be used as the sound track to the video...I am sure one day you will make it to Switzerland to try out the roads first hand...Peter
nice :)
Next time I am in Switzerland it will be July so I am hoping that I shall have a no snow like yourself although Switzerland with a light covering of snow is well worth the look...Peter
brr wann warst du denn da oben,......sieht ja arsch kalt aus..... wir waren im Juni da....da war echt weniger Schnee...... das muss doch gar keinen Spass machen bei den nassen Strassen oder?? mfg
You can't fool me, I live down south & that ain't Alabama. I'd sure love to ride my ST1100 there some day though.
Wow I ride my ST1100 in central Florida so that is a totally different ride than touring through the mountains in the snow! Some how I don't think this video captures the cold! Looks like fun though.
When are you going as we are going back again this July??
I can see You've got nice weather up the Fluela ;) , thanks for sharing this nice movie !
Thanks for posting, The most beutiful place on the planet,I think the song sums it up.and the best bike for the job.
I agree, STXPeter
Great, great piece of footage, and an inspired choice of song. It got the hairs on the back of my neck going. I'll show this to my wife and see if she is pursuaded to go on the back of my beemer? Cheers, Simon

If you would like to see some more clips from Scotland then do a search using Britstoc as a search word..Peter
Glad you liked it.....You are right Scotland does have some of the best Scenery in the world......if only it had the weather to match...but then the if it had the landscape would look so different......when you get on the road try out the Isle of Arran..what a ride and a true mini Scotland....Peter
Great !
You are quite correct about it being the pillions camera work....In fact nearly all my vids are taken by the pillion because I think they are better at capturing what is around you rather than just the view ahead..Regards.Peter
well done mother for this you done ab fab
I think if you get generous weather then you can do no wrong spending time touring the far north of the UK..it must be put on the things to do before you die list...We went just as the Scottish kids all went back to school (there Holidays are earlier that the ours in England) and this meant we had the place almost to ourselves
From a ST-Owners in the States; Awesome scenery, awesome bike!
