Regarding 4:00, not the strongest example of anchoring, is it? Anchoring can occur even with utterly irrelevant numbers. The average number of films per year is not irrelevant; its impact on the estimates *should* anchor the guesses, as it's really a prior. But that's not why anchoring is so interesting. If you'd mentioned the $1000 average bonus before the question about Hanks and Lee, the estimates of total films would tend toward 1000 even though there was no connection implied or inferred between that value and Hollywood.
Great talk! Many interesting and promising topics to work on. I also liked the Michael Gerst's focus on biases and heuristics. Looking forward to it.
