Did you have to tweak your feed lips or latch at all?
No. But I'd adjust the latch to gain more bolt engagement.
@@RanBao There's no latch adjustment and it's already the tall latch.
I’m jealous. I just put together my TL3 setup for AWs and it won’t feed for anything. I’ll call Hawkins and see what they suggest.
Mine only feed in the range but not in the field. I ended up with getting the accuracy international at-x for the reliable feeding.
@@RanBao Can I suggest that add some notations to this video then or take it down? People (like me) find this video when researching parts, buy a given combo of parts based on someone claiming "look how great this feeds!" only to find out that it actually doesn't feed and the video is misleading.
hey i plan to design a autotrickler for my scale i have one question, did you have problems with static load when printing from abs and pla ? or did you ground everthing with a 1mohm resistor ? greets from autria
Hello. The powder residue will eliminate any static charge after few cycles so you don't need to worry too much about that. Also feel free to join our discord if you need further help. discord.gg/ZhdThA2vrW
Love it. Did you publish the code at all?
Yep. You can find them here github.com/eamars/OpenTrickler-RP2040-Controller
Amazing job
Love what you have done
This looks like the Magpul Pro 700 Chassis. Is that an actual AI AW mag?
Yup you're right.
@@RanBaoAwesome, what a useful capability in a $1k chassis.
Is that a 6br from a mag?
Yup
What is this?
It is the automatic powder dispenser that I designed github.com/eamars/OpenTrickler
Nice
Where did you get the spring from? Just buy a 5 rd pmag?
Yeah 5 round pmag works for me.
@@RanBao thank you sir!
Have you tried the open trickler on a Sartorius scale? Just wondering if it would work with the same software and if the hook up cable is the same.
What material / filament was this printed with?
Are you based in south island?
Yes
This is in Ashburton.
Any update on reliability?
Sorry I'm still waiting for my 6mm br barrel. Unfortuantely I don't have access to any 6br rifle at the moment.
Lifting using the thumb is a no go.
Cool video bro thanks for posting. I have the exact same set up with the holosun 507 comp optic. I haven't shot it yet. Im worried about having to change the spring if it has malfunctions based on reviews. Any issues with it? What optic are you running?
I have a mass driver that I currently use on a Glock 23 build that I have converted to 9mm. Have had no issues at all with cycling or feeding. I will also occasionally use it with my Glock 23 oem 40 s&w barrel since they are similar rounds, and that functions well with no issues too. For the price you can’t beat the mass driver, strike industries really does make great products. My current go to comp is the radian afterburner and ramjet, which I use on my psa dagger build….if you have the money go for radian but you can’t go wrong with this. Strike industries also has replacement parts kits for the mass driver which is less than half the price of the whole mass driver kit….20 bucks for the guide rod and spring….a couple dollars for little washers that it uses
Did you have any reliability problems with it?
No feeding issue at all.
Im so high, i thought you compressed charges from the air and was weighing the amount. Thought the noise was electrical crackels😂
What holster are you running with that?
DOUBLE ALPHA PDR PRO-II G19x+mass driver has the identical length with the G34. If a holster can fit the G34 then it will fit this setup.
What caliber rifle was this?
6mm br
Is there a big difference in your followup shots?
may i know what type of mass driver compensator are you using for your glock 19x? is it the GEN3 compact (G19) version. also what barrel are you using for this run? just a stock glock barrel?
Stock G19x barrel and Gen5 mass driver comp.
Is there a mass driver compensator made in particular for the 19x? Or did you use the option for the 19?
Is the pulley on the powder thrower 3D printed? Willing to share the stl?
I don't maintain that design anymore. You could find more information here: github.com/eamars/OpenTrickler
Thanks for sharing, keep em coming.
Who cares?
It appears you aren't getting a lot of over/under throws. Is that just this video/powder or... what's your experience been, what percentage of over/under throws are you seeing and if it differs between ball and spherical maybe break that down. Appreciate anything you can share.
The tolerance is set to 0.02gr. There is no way it will underthrow given how the controller is designed. Howver it would overthrow if a chunk of kernels are thrown at a time. I'm still tuning the PID controller between the speed & chance of overthown.
@@RanBao in my case I'm not that concerned about speed, slower and spot on is good. Some overthrows aren't an issue, like the commercial ones the average time for a batch isn't be even if you're getting 10% failure.
I was reading though the OT on github and seems you're still actively making a lot of changes. How beta is this? like what % to fully cooked? Just thinking if a person wanted to do one of these maybe it's better to wait until you have it settled a bit?
The current design is usable in terms of the powder trickling. Given the assembly manual is released I'm incline to make major changes to the open trickler body and the A&D FX12oi/300i shield. On the other hand the RP2040 controller board is closed to v1.0 release, no more hardware change is proposed at present stage. I will focus on the software design and system integration in next few weeks.
@@RanBao Thanks for the info, helpful.
This great, but how about more info. Like details on how you made it, cost, and if you have plans to sell or provide the design.
The design is already made open source on my github: github.com/eamars/OpenTrickler The assembly instruction is also available: github.com/eamars/OpenTrickler/blob/main/Manual/assembly.md At present stage the user need to print and assemble everything including the PCB and printed parts.
@@RanBao nice, I wish I had the skills to do stuff like this. I don't work with Pi or 3D print.
That's cool👍️
What are the specs for the attachments?

well not as good as your ~12 minute benchy but damn that's pretty good for 6 minutes
Agree. Flow and heat dissipation is a big challenge for the Stealthburner. I was running Dragon volcano on this speed run but the extrusion speed can't really catch up.
@@RanBao I gotta get my hands on a voron to try to get it printing speedy to experiment with
This is e3dv6?
It was the phaetus rapido
with the tmc5160 @ 48v you’ll need a dedicated power supply for this voltage and mainboard but do you use a separate power supply that’s 24v for the bed? nice setup btw! i’m almost done with my 2.4 & next step is high voltage wiring so i’m wondering about going 48v. since my board supports it & i have a extra 48v power supply from a different project it’s tempting af lol i did order tmc2209 but i could use those for the next build. in your opinion is it worth the upgrade? i know it’s more than one question but your voron is what i want mine to be ✌️
Yes I'm using a dedicated 55V PSU to power all motors. It is work upgrading for at least AB drives which will gives you crazy fast speed and acceleration.
@@RanBao i mean, is there a way to support 2 different stepper drivers in the same board if it’s setup correctly in klipper? i know klipper supports multiple boards with any assortment of drivers but i’m not sure i can use two different drivers in the same board. i’m running a btt manta m8p so i could leave the 4 z & extruder motors with 2209’s & the dual AB motors with 5160? it does make sense. thanks for the response btw! looking forward to having my 2.4 up & running ✌️
@@RPista If you're using board that allows variable external voltage source, like an Octopus Pro then you can run 2x 5160 for XY and the rest for Z and extruders with 2209. Klipper supports this mode without issue.
Also, try running a 0.6 nozzle. You'll halve that time.
Would you mind posting your startup routine? I quite like that.
Here you are github.com/eamars/voron24_250_klipper_config/blob/main/printer.cfg
@@RanBao You are a rockstar. Thank You!
Suppressor is that?
Are you guys serious
Nice, which motors? Super quiet. accels, speeds etc?
LDO 0.9 degree motor, driven by 5160pro at 55V@1A. The slicer is configured to print with 20k acceleration at 385mm/s speed.
@@RanBao That's good. Did not expect them to be 0.9s considering the sound. Thanks for sharing.
great job , thx
Do you have a video of the new V3 you can post? Debating canceling my Autotrickler V4 to make this.
Hi The project is now having a face lift! github.com/eamars/OpenTrickler
Sticky bolt lift on the first five?
Which wolverine engine is that?
the sound is not good I am quite disappointed
How is it not good
Cool. How much did that cost to do?
Roughtly 2-300 bucks. Will trickle under 15s.
