nice to meet you in the dungeons again, but why did you throw away a 10k+ set to kill me instead of just being friendly and letting me try some parries on wyvern?
I'm tired of being friendly with all the encounters, everyone has already forgotten that this is a hardcore dungeon crawler and not a family friendly game, especially in HR

I dont know what Im doing wrong, but the "basic attack"the troll is doing to me is different. Any tips? Its doing the opposite movement you show in the video and I keep taking the damage.
is this possible as warlock? or are the perks really carrying this fight? I cant seem to block fast enough or get the spacing needed after hitting the repose.

how are you doing the 2 wide swing attacks after you parry ? its not letting me.... I can parry his attacks but its not doing the Left/right combo

So this is replicable with 43 strength and a blue longsword? Plus skill. Is there some other numbers I'm missing? I don't wanna do it perfectly or anything but this looks like a hood strat even when not speedrunning yes?
Probably harder now that stats are lower; but he also has a lot of physical damage, power, and additional damage. Definitely don't do the face hits while he is charging up the slam; if you have better gear than this you might be able to pull it off but it looks like his RNG for moves were good (no followups on swing), his positioning was TIGHT (crouching under swing isn't easy), and the reset with invis pot was ballsy

I apologize for the standard brightness, I tried to play like everyone else, but it’s uncomfortable. Yes, it's an attack that randomly ends a left-right-left-right combo... It is not shown in this video. But the random right side swing into smash always occur while I am right underneath the hammer, which instantly kills me. Any thoughts on how to avoid that attack pattern?
I understand what you mean, can't say what exactly triggering it. I've encountered this combination only in HR and never in Normal (for the parry strategy), and often died from it. The only option I learned is to parry it instantly by looking up and taking a small amount of splash damage.
Not sure if we talking about the same "smash", I'll try and clarify I am not referring to the left fist slam, that only happens in HR, but the normal club slams that you parried twice, when he started with that attack. So my issue is, when he does not start with that attack, but for random reasons does it mid combo swings :(

@@XxMkyMTRxX There I’m standing outside the damage zone (not parry is the reason for not taking damage), you can parry while standing under the hammer and it will pass through you without causing the main damage
I had managed to learn the different parries from studying your previous video. You make it seem easy, but the right side swing into smash is hard to read in time. But thanks to this video, I will try to Parry it by aiming at the ground it hits like you demonstrated as the final blow.
If hard to understand what the attack will be next, it might be possible to move left (as you do for any attack) and adaptate once the attack has been identified
A more broken down, instructed video on it would be appreciated a lot ❤️
