At the end of the world, and the end of everything, every day, there is Hoagy Carmichael's Stardust, the most appropriate and versatile song of love and all that surrounds its expansion around us till the end, that end, that may not even exist, but Stardust, in memory of Jerome Darr, Johnny Smith and Eddie Lang, with great reverence, I believe, here.

Love Guthrie as a musician, and his experience does add to his muscianship most obviously. But couldn't care less about "experience". That's where I think GT doesn't really get it.

Love Lage, love FJ, but it's wild to me that in a video of a guitarist presumably shot by a guitarist, you can see what his left hand is doing for only like 10% of the video. You don't see his fretting hand for almost a full minute in the beginning. He's a handsome guy, but I want to learnt he song, not analyze his facial expressions!

The warm up is a lesson in itself.

Meanwhile that's exactly how SRV got his big break. He asked Albert King to sit in and instead of giving him the Guthrie Trapp treatment, King was kind enough or smart enough to check the kid out and boy was he surprised.

I learned all them chords to beach boys song that Tom, Sarah, and two friends done years ago. Flute playing and all, it was so cool.

Such incredible talents. It's a privilege to be able to share in their experiences even in a small way. Thanks to them and thanks to you for bringing this to us.

Did Guthrie let the cat out of the bag? "We are recording some new tunes...". We can only hope for another collab record. "In Stereo" is so good. Every listen I discover something new.
