Episode 40: Faith, God, Diversity and the Journey
In this episode, Associate Professor Shane Clifton from the University of Sydney comes on the podcast to talk about the many lives he led before his accident, his career as a theology lecturer and his accident that led to a spinal cord injury 14 years ago.
Susan and Shane talk candidly about their journeys with faith and their disabilities and how the impact of knowing the diversity in people has shaped their outlook on what God means to each of them.

Going up and down an escalator seems reeeeaaaaly dangerous
This guy is the master of wheelz 😅😅 awesome man
47 years old and I have never even seen a "rollator" only escalators with stairs
I appreciate this video but would not dream of balancing on my back wheels this much. If I fall, I can break a bone pretty easily due to weak bones. Some of these tips are good tho.
👍👍👍
☹️ "promo sm"
in europe they have esculator for the ahopping caRTS AS MANY ARE two story shopping stores
I love doing the escalators in built up shopping centres despite the no wheelchair sign on it. People freak out. Especially with a big basket of shopping on your lap!

This is great! Thank you.
Other than the weight, what if any, is the advantage of wire spokes over plastic ones?
Durability. Plastic's less likely to hold up under vibration over time.
Rest easy Jason 😢🩷
Controlling behaviors shouldn',t occur.
R.I.P. !
I'm in the process of starting this. Just gotta get some paperwork done first

I'm a new wheelchair users, the providers never gave me any.advice on how to use the chair. Your information will greatly help. However, I think my chair is made out of scaffold tubes, and it is impossible to balance on just the back wheels. Thank you for putting the information out there. I'm sure it will help over people as well as me,
