Thank for your wonderful and interesting video Ashlee. You certainly covered a lot of ground during your time in Budapest. I will be visiting Budapest for the first time in a few months. I will be staying in the same area as you, did you find the city to be safe to walk around ? Best of luck in your travels and stay safe.
You’re most welcome! Yeah, felt very safe. Also very easy to walk around. I had a large camera with me and didn’t feel uncomfortable bringing it out to take photos at any time! Just be wary of your surroundings, especially those on e-bikes! Safe travels :)
I Love You Ashlee!
Thanks God bless you for your inspirational video, are you open for more questions about the world packer experience?
Such kind words, thankyou! Absolutely, go for it
Once you're signed up with a account how long does it take before you're accepted? I'm a "nonviolent and predatorial previous offender" in my youth, meaning I'm none that's in quotations. Very proud of the choices I've made but some of the bad choices involved cannabis and driving mistakes. Will things like this hurt me being selected? And my last concern is vaccines, I support medicine but I'm against vaccines majority the COVID-19 vaccine. Will this affect my general involvement? Again thank you and God bless all that you are doing!
You can sign up with an account and then you will need to do a little bit of training to understand what worldpackers is all about and how it works. I dont think past choices will affect your selection. It’s not like applying for a job. Depending on the country you’re visiting, they may require a covid vaccine. Otherwise, the host of the volunteer experience could possibly ask for their visitors to be covid vaccinated. (This can assist in protecting those in vulnerable and small communities that havent had exposure to the virus like we have.) Hope that was helpful!
Thank you Soo much Ashlee 🌞
Most welcome, safe travels! :)
Very pretty place. Love the little streets and cafes you walk through. Really good places you are sharing and to visit Ash!
Thanks!! Loads of cool spots in Gjirokaster
What awesome views. Very cool castle. Great videos on your channel Ashlee!

Cheers!
The buildings and churches look spectacular. Amazing how the Danube river is connected to so many countries. Looks like a very cool place to explore!
Budapest is a very cool place
Beautiful shots of the scenery Ashlee. The highest point would have been so worth the trek up there. Very peaceful place without all the tourists!
Yeah, the off season has its perks!

A pretty great place!!
Hi!! can you share the link of the worldpackers experience?
Yes of course- www.worldpackers.com/en/positions/54478
Gee wiz. You is kind, you is smart, you is important. My 1st vid of yours. I love it. Im planning on traveling to Italy for my 1st World packers adventure from USA.
That is so kind of you! Be sure to subscribe, I’ve got loads of backpacking videos yet to come :) ! Amazing! What will you be doing in Italy?
@@AshleeMorgan already did! I guess with WWII, a lot of the mountain towns and cities lost roads. So, many of the buildings were abandoned. Theres a lot of restoration and ecological opportunities that I really want to join. Absolutely incredible country
Thankyou for the support! Awesome, loads of incredible history to explore. Safe travels!
Such a nice Video! Do you have the exact name of the tour you did??? :) the one in the national park
Thankyou kindly! I do, its the 2 day trek with kayaking along the Nam Ha River in Luang Namtha. The company I went with is called Discovering Laos. :)
awesome vlog! i wanna be papa sao"s friend
Hes an incredible man and so kind to offer visitors a view into life of the Karen Villagers :)
Love you so nice girl ❤
Did you have a rental car when you first got to Vietnam? Or any other of your stays? How did you get around for the most part?
Never used rental cars, only rental scooters / mopeds. Theyre very cheap to hire in Asia. Anywhere from $3-$8 AUD for a day, and petrol is cheap as its a small vehicle! I love the freedom of scooters. In terms of travelling from town to town, i would use buses / trains :)
@@AshleeMorgandid you need like an international license?? Or one specific for each place?
@@MCcrizz An international license is definitely a good idea, but I didn’t have one at the time of this trip. However, if you are pulled over by police and asked to show license, you may get into trouble!
Was planning to go to SEA for my first international trip. Was kinda afraid. But this particular motivated me to book my ticket now.
Yay! Stoked for you. SEA is an awesome place for a first international trip. The people in this region are incredibly friendly and are always willing to help. Don’t forget to make use of Google Translate and download the languages of each country to have them at all times! Super helpful for finding your way around :) Safe travels!
This was just so beautiful - it made me emotional. I am now so excited to travel SE Asia this summer!
This is such a lovely comment! South East Asia is a very special place, you’re going to have an amazing time. Take care and enjoy the journey! X
Ashlee you know how to atract viewers 😊
Thanks so much!
Plant that rice faster! Seriously, if you've made the trip to go work in a rice filed, try to emulate the work force that's doing it.
😂 sorry dude, but its a skill and takes a little while getting used to. Id rather do it carefully and correctly than mess up one of their main food sources. But thanks for the insight!
@@AshleeMorgan Oh, don't apologize to me...put that towards those working there that thought they'd actually have help with the labor.
They didnt actually want our help. Papa Sao didn’t want us to plant the rice but we wanted to do it for the experience. The people from the Karen tribe are incredibly lovely and were just stoked to see us getting involved. We still did something, and I’m proud of our achievements.
loved the video, it was so peaceful ! thank you <3 <3
So glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching :) <3
love this video<33 i'd love a southeast asia guide/tips/advice video from you <33
Thankyou kindly! I may have to do one in the future :)
this inspired me so much<3 i want to travel southeast asia solo too, what was the route that you took? and did you have to apply for vietnam visa before entering the country x
Thats so kind of you!!! Its honestly an incredible place to travel, I couldn’t recommend it enough!!!! I started in Vietnam, and then went to Thailand, Laos, and Indonesia :) Yep! Apply for the Vietnam visa well before entering the country! X Happy travels :)
@@AshleeMorgan did you ever get asked for proof of onward travel at any point? X
Yes!! This happened a couple of times. You can get ‘dummy flight tickets’ online if you’re unsure of when u plan to leave the country. Im not exactly sure of the legalities of this in each country though, so just beware!
The editing of this is sooooo wonderful to watch 🥹 and a helpful guide also! thank you for sharing ❤
Thankyou so much!! Glad you also found it helpful :)
Thanks for help, you are very pretty😁 How old are you and what do you do for work?
Thanks! Im 26, and working a few different odd jobs!
An awesome video that's really well put together, I really loved the intro and b-roll, and it looked like such a great trip! Excited to see what's next on the channel :)
Cheers Justin!!
Thanks for this girly! This was a very authentic video, please continue to share your adventures 🥰 I would love to see more
Thankyou, thats so kind!! Plenty more travels to come :) x
Loved the intro- but the full video is really well put together, very nice to watch :) How scenic is Vietnam 😍 and Pai is just the perfect place! Laos looked amazing, never got chance to go this time around. :( Hot air balloon in Vang Vieng is such a bucket list tick! Since you have made some great videos, i was wondering if you also like watching travel content. If you do, we would really appreciate some feed back on any of our videos to help us improve the quality of them. We would really appreciate it if you could find time to do this. Absolutely no problem if you don't, thanks for taking the time to read my comment :)
Thankyou so much!!! Glad you enjoyed. Would love to check out your channel :) cheers for the support!
You should share more as I loved this video. What did you use to edit this video / how did you get the film like lens?
Thankyou so much! There’ll be plenty more like this incoming :) I plan to travel Europe next year, so be sure to stick around for that!! I use Da Vinci Resolve for editing. The film edits are free ones I found online :)
