Welcome! I'm Pastor Sam, the founder of Be Free Ministries. Our mission is for the church to live out the freedom and power of the Gospel.
My journey started in 2010 when my marriage was filled with constant arguing. I was coming out a season of depression, not knowing who I really was. Then God spoke: “Sam, you are going to write a book and do conferences about this journey of becoming free.” I replied, “What?! I don’t want to do that.” It took 10 years and a lot of God rearranging and turning my life upside down (in a good way!), but eventually the Be Free book and ministry was birthed.
Now I use Be Free to help pastors, ministry leaders and churches get free from the heavy weight of carrying people’s expectations and trying to measure up. I want to help you realize that we don’t get our value, worth, or identity from what we do or what others think about us, but from what Jesus has done for us.

We are all sinners
Yes, we are all born sinners. That’s why Christ had to come die for us. But after we receive Jesus, the Bible says we become new creations (2 Cor. 5:17) who are in Christ. We are now holy (Hebrews 3:1) and temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19). The Holy Spirit could not dwell in us if we were still sinners. Do we still sin? Of course we do, but when sin as a believer, we are acting out of character.

When I gave my life to Christ I’m not a Sinner anymore, I’am Saved by grace now, i don’t call myself a Sinner!!
You always be sinner and Jesus was the only perfect righteous one we all are sinners no matter what, you still sin you said it with pride

Is this church preparing it's members for heaven or elsewhere? Read Ecclesiastes 12:13,14 John 14:15. Proverbs 28:9. James 2:10-12. Exodus 20:8-11. Ezekiel 22:8, 26. Isaiah 8:16, 20. Psalms 111:7,8. Mathew 5:17-19. FOLKS WAKE UP..TIME IS SHORT AND JESUS IS COMING SOON . JESUS IS COMING FOR A COMMANDMENT KEEPING PEOPLE. PEOPLE WAKE UP.

I keep ending up in circles. I couldn't figure it, I can have humility, but being humble about the waiting part... The learning process and judgement haven't always been easy. Know I understand what I myself haven't fulfilled. Thank you for explaining it that way.

Very true. We live in a realm of opposites. "Pride comes before the fall".
Jesus is in himself the Righteous & Holy One. When he lives in us and we in him, he infuses his own righteousness into our lives. I Corinthians 1:30…But if him are ye in Christ Jesus, who if God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. It is Jesus who justifies us or declares us righteous & he calls us to be righteous in our honesty, truthfulness, in our dealings with others such as with homeless & the poor bcuz we serve a righteous Lord. Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God. Keep my decrees and follow them, I am the LORD, who makes you holy. (Leviticus 20:7-8, I Peter 1:14-16) Just as God is holy he calls us to be holy in all we do. So we as true believers are to live in righteousness & holiness. We are to be as much like Christ as we can. Christ lives in us and we live in Christ. Christ Jesus is righteous & holy so we are to be too. Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy, without holiness no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14) Christ died for sins once for all, the Righteous for the unrighteousness, to bring us to God (I Peter 3:18a) Jesus Christ is the one who makes us righteousness at such a great cost. We are dependent upon God’s grace , that sends Jesus, the Holy & Righteous One who takes away our sin & he infuses us with his righteousness so that our lives may reflect holiness & righteousness on earth as in heaven. We thank him for that. By this, I KNOW who I am in Christ!

God in a very distant time (before the world was born) knew the whole future. He then just COMMANDED his power "LET ALL THIS BE, BUT WITHOUT ME". This happened because the almighty God (A) always uses the MOST DIRECT AND EFFECTIVE WAY to get what He wants (this is the straightest way) and (B) wanted to AVOID being OBLIGED afterwards to PERSONALLY PERFORM all the God's actions set out in that well-determined future (actions and words). After his command, God became FREE of any other duties. Thus, the God's words in that future shall NOT be personally spoken by God. Since God is not here personally speaking, it means that those words are spoken by a spirit instead. He is the "Spirit of God" (the Holy Spirit). "God is a spirit" means that God is here with us ONLY in the form of a spirit. No one ever saw God in his "normal form": "the world has not known you". Who is the "Son" of God? You can guess it, see above "God became FREE of any other duties...".
