    I didn’t loss much weight however the amount of Volume has been amazing, I went from a XXL to a medium. It did take 9 months for sleep Apnea to resolve as well as allergies.so hang in there.

    im 30 days in & my fatigue didnt improve either actually it is worse than before i started. i equate it to probably a longer adaptation period & or electrolyte issues. im going to buy electrolytes this week so i guess i'll see soon if thats it.

    Well doneJessica , my thought’s on carnivore and vegan is that they both work , not for everybody because we are all different and have different needs for our body’s , I don’t judge vegan or carnivore and here is why , my thoughts are after discovering what people are cutting out of there diets is all the junk and what we are left with is good natural foods plants and or meats , because people eliminate the junk we been eating we get results , what a surprise hey,

      @@jessicasjourney2762 …I only figured that out after a while , I was vegan for about 6 years but ate the unhealthy vegan options which did me no favours for my weight , I did feel really good plant based but was difficult when eating out the best I could get was a garden salad pretty disappointing and after all that time I decided to call it quits, I did omad and did well but wasn’t sustainable for me then I tried carnivore which I really like and I looked at both life styles that’s when I seen the similarities of elimination of junk foods and why they work so good for people and was pretty much it , when you look at the people who feel amazing and find they cut out all the other things it was a no brainer to me but tend to think people over look why they are feeling so good , just my thoughts on that sorry for the long winded message take care 👍

      I was pretty strict the first 30 days and I did track my macros because I have done that for years. The experts say that isn't necessary, though. You should eat when you are hungry and eat until comfortably stuffed. This way of eating is totally different and new for me and I'm still learning. I wanted to make sure I was getting enough fat. I use myfitnesspal and changed the macro goals. (30% protein, 70% fat, and 0 carbs) I didn't have dairy the first 30 days besides butter. I truly believe being strict helped me with cravings. Whenever I felt lethargic, I learned to eat more fat and to make sure to add more salt. I found that I am taking longer to adjust to this way of eating, but that's ok because everyone is different. I'm not sure in what ways you are struggling but I hope this helps. 🩷 I wish you all the best!

    Get yourself a portable sauna. I work 3rd shift and my sleep has always been garbage. Got the sauna for the cardiovascular benefits but the immediate thing I noticed was a tremendous improvement in my sleep. 20 minutes in the sauna, quick rinse off in the shower then bed. Out the second my head hits the pillow and stay asleep 8 hrs straight through.

    Hi Jessica! Great video. I've been doing this for sixty days but am still working out what could and couldn't work for me. I wonder if pork is a no no as my skin has had two breakouts which has never happened to me in my life. I wonder why you stopped the pork? I'm off all dairy now and eggs as I think they could also be a problem. I'm still experimenting. Keep going and posting please as this has been really helpful. 😃

      Hello! I'm so happy you've found my videos helpful. Great job on the sixty days! That's amazing! I've just completed day 50, and I'm still learning and adjusting also. I was concerned with pork because I was having a hard time adjusting to the no carb life and I wasn't feeling my best. I was getting some comments that suggested eliminating pork. Some people are really sensitive to pork. I've since come to realize that it doesn't affect me negatively. I will add it back in the future. I hope that helps.     Hi Jessica! I went to BJs yesterday and bought meat in bulk, and paster raised eggs. I live on a SS budget. I also now buy Chuck stake. I can't afford ribeye. I think the chuck is good. Some of it has been almost as tender as Ribeye. Have a great day!😊

      @lindatobin2123 Hello. While eating Carnivore, you do not need to track calories. They say to eat when you are hungry and eat until your comfortably full. I am tracking because I always have and like to use that data to look back on. I also track just to make sure I'm hitting my fat and protein goals. Thank you! ☺️ Great job on starting tomorrow.     You might enjoy the 75 /25/primal beef/liver/heart blend l found from REP Provisions. I slow bake it with bacon 🥓 and tallow and top it off with pastured egg yolks and raw butter. I have bone broth each morning and three times a week l have salmon or sardines. So simple and satiating!!!!

      No, it isn't a carnivore thing. Some people are sensitive to eating pork. I was getting some comments that led me to believe that eating pork was the reason I wasn't feeling my best. A good bit of carnivores like to stick to ruminate meat. After eliminating it, I realized it had nothing to do with how I was feeling. I was still adjusting and still am. I like variety. In the future, I will be adding it back in.

    you are doing amazing stay the course the weight will come off I as well being true to the diet and exercising would at times gain, but I knew it couldn’t be real fat, and sure enough it wasn’t. It will all equal out in the end and your form and exercises were great!

    Chuck roll is pretty good for cheaper steak options - you do need to ask for it behind the counter and take a little bit of time cutting steaks/roasts out of it. Butcher Wizard actually has a few good videos on how to cut it up. Pork Butt when its on sale is a good thing to add variety if you tolerate pork well - also if you separate the coppa muscle from the rest of the pork butt, you can get some pretty tasty, fatty chops from it.

    That looks like a good selection. If and when I try out the carnivore diet, I plan on using it as a elimination diet so I would start out with ruminate meat, at first, maybe a week of that is long enough, and then add in the fish selection, organs and liver pate, turkey and chicken. There really is a good selection of meat and animal products that can keep you from getting bored with it.

      @jessicasjourney2762, jessicasjourney2762, Yes, just studying this diet is teaching me so much, it’s unbelievable! Because it’s making me look at other stuff like the animal based diet. There are doctors, who have channels and they talk medical stuff on it, lol! And I’m like, I didn’t know that… like the chemistry and nutrition and oh my gosh! Then I look at keto stuff. They’re coming up with new flours. The latest is bamboo. So after I experiment with all of this stuff, I will go low carb. That means that I can use a mixture of these flours along with real flour and add gluten, which is super low in carbs and finally create my magic pizza crust, hahaha! Maybe that’s my ultimate goal. My target, my dietary purpose, hahaha! You could put anything on a pizza! 😆😂

    I just joined BJs because I want to start buying in bulk. Starting my 4th week of carnivore. I have also started buying Chuck Eye steak instead of ribeye. Its not as tender of course, but it taste good. I am on a budget too. I will probably go ketovore after the 30 days, as I really miss vegies. Surprisingly more than sugar. 😊

    A while back I came to realize that the scale was not my friend 😆 . . when I hit a plateau in weight loss numbers, inches all over my body were gradually falling off and I had to keep buying smaller sizes. Think of it like the stock market: some days it surges, other days it tanks. No worries with dollar cost averaging. . . ha ha ha ha! You are putting in the work for the long term. You have a great attitude and didn't allow the scale to derail your mission. You showed up for yourself and did a serious workout = much respect for that! 🙌You may have already heard of a YT channel, "Bob and Brad" who call themselves the "Most Famous Physical Therapists on the Internet." 😅They and their colleague, Mike, have a great sense of humor. Maybe give them a look about how to remedy knee pain. You have wonderful content on your channel, and it deserves more and more viewership.

    Congratulations on the three hundred subscribers! Don’t worry about the weight gain. Your body is getting worked hard. Your body will probably put out hormones to make you eat since you are working it hard so keep that in mind. Start looking at your weight loss journey as a 9 months out; these weight gains and loses, here and there, will level themselves out. There are BMR calculators and there are activities/exercises calculators that you can use to see how much you have burned. I use them in my calorie deficit diet because when I work out, the calories that I burn, I am allowed to eat. So if I have a 400 calorie a day deficit ( that’s loosing 1 pound in 9 days ) and I loose 250 calories that day from walking or riding my recumbent exercise bike, I get to eat that 250 calories because I set the amount that I can have a day at a 400 less than my “ sedentary “ allowance. I’m being strict with it for a medical reason and goal. It’s temporary so it isn’t messing with my mind. If I have to eat more and I go over, it goes over, onto the next day and either I can burn it off or not. If not, that day gets minused and my goal day gets stretched out further. That’s how I deal with mess ups. It just means that I don’t reach my goal on my set day, not a big deal. The carnivore diet, you’re not supposed to use it to loose weight when first starting. That’s because the goal is for your body to switch over and for your metabolism to get fixed. I would guess that that could take three to four months according to people’s stories that I have read. After that time, then they start recommending watching what you eat like too many carnivore rich, tasty foods that someone might eat more of due to pleasure. Just some thoughts to consider. Some days you are more hungry than others and at the end of the week you will see that the numbers work out anyways, to reach your weight loss. Don’t sweat it, keep your eye on it, but give your body the leeway. If you don’t reach your goals, it just pushes out your goal date, no big deal, you’re still on a target. 👍
