bottling the cherry beer
zhlédnutí 684Před 7 lety
Both the raspberry and the cherry beer were bottled in the same way. The method works for any beer. 5g sugar per litre of beer being a pretty standard rate of priming. Some styles take more some less, but at this rate of priming you are unlikely to come a cropper as long as the beer has fermented out before priming

Have to say I love your name for your channel!! Very clever!! 😂
Narrowboats are brilliant!
This video is a hidden gem. I've watched it three times and it still makes me giggle. Bottled my first attempt at sparkling wine today. May there not be any bombs going off in the storeroom the next few weeks.
Yes. Here's to non exploding bottles!
hi thanks for the vid - is mild ale malt the same as vienna malt?
Get the keg cold in one day hook up co2 turn up to 30lbs co2 shake keg back and fourth four or five times let sit for one more day drop pressure back to 5 and draw it’s carbonated that easy doesn’t take two weeks
I want to like but then I‘d destroy the triple 7
Question: there’s got to be something one could use that leftover fruit for, right? I’m thinking dessert garnish of some kind! Or a chutney-like preserve…….
Seems easy to make. It 7% abu that crazy
How long did it ferment, and how long did you let it age?
Thanks for your recipe, you helped me to make my beer 🍺🍻
Good grief this wanker cant even string together a video properly.?? Fail wont be back.
When are you going to be editing this together?
Great
So more sugar means more alcohol ?
Very good demo Leo. Also refreshing to read/see a brewer who was totally honest about his results. I thought he was about 50% to heavy on the ginger (which can be overwhelming). I worked with a ginger/cranberry recipe. Mine-flopped. Poured 5 gal. out!
I will do this one but maybe 12 liter should i just multiply?

If you think that is nice try it with pear juice, it is to die for.
Hello, at what temperature should it be measured?
Very Nice..

Gonna give it a go but stronger :-)
Love this channel! We just made a video about the oldest brewery in the world, perhaps people on here might enjoy?
Quick question: how long did your batch take to ferment?

I reckon 3% is about the highest you could expect from this.
Very interesting.
are you drunk lol
I've been following you for a long time and through several accounts. Glad to know you are still making videos. Sorry to hear about your health problems, hope your situation improves during this time. You're one of the best CZcamsrs in my humble opinion. Cheers mate.
I have gout. You have my sympathy as it is horrible. I keep mine under control with vitamin c supplements. Sounds rubbish but vit c and high water in take forces high excretion of uric acid. This crystallised in the joints is what causes the inflammation. Vit c, fizzy tablet from Tesco with breakfast and PM. Doesn't come back!
I have a Vitamix... I'm going to puree the fruit and strain that in a coffee filter to get even more juice out of the plums... then I'll eat the plums later... Waste Not Want Not
Excellent Video... Thank you for sharing this.
How long did it take to be drinkable?
Lovely and simple 🌹 thank you
Ilvino di mele altrimenti detto Sidro e piu buono del vino '' normale '' di uva e della birra. Peccato che in Italia sia difficile da trovare.. Quando lo trovi costa caro e di pessima qualita'
I'm making this with early transparent gage instead. Probably about 6lbs work of them. Leaving them for 3 to 4 months rather than the suggested 2 will ... create more alcohol ? Or ruin the batch ? Im such a beginner. Also any tips to making it crystal clear at the end? Ive watched a few things about adding tablets etc ...
Is that 2lbs of plums before or after stoning ? Thanks
Great recipe
amazing video sir. can i use bread yeast for ginger beer? bread yeast is only available in my location. hoping for your response sir tnx
I have really missed you uploading new brewing videos. You are one of the most entertaining and informative home brewers out there.
Does anyone eat or cook with the boozy plums that are strained from the liquid?
