Hai by using lego EV3, can we build staircase climber or rover moves on uneven terrain

Let's say you had a big version of this for a power generator like in Dr Stone, and a line of people that wanted to help turn the center gear, how would you do that? It makes sense that one person could sit there beside the main center gear and turn it, but if someone goes on the other side and tried to turn a gear there, sure they COULD help, but they'd get in the way if they weren't in sync with the other person. How could you make a line of people (say even 5 people) that could spin something with their hands while all being in sync to help spin the main gear?

how do you line follow with that thing? i dont see how a P controller line follower would work on your robot

My son and I just started programming the EV3 in Mindstorms Classroom. We noticed that one motor registered as a round motor and the other as a square motor. Because of this, rotations were not identical. Is it necessary to state somewhere which motor is being used in a particular motor port?

Hello and Thank you for this video!!!!!! I have a project on my university in the subject of STEAM and I am thinking about to use a touch sensor. In my project my robot will have to move in a number line on the ground and putt fractions in order from least to greatest. So lets say that I will use a 2 meters number line. I thought that as a first step before my robot starts is to put my hand under the fraction 1/10 for example or 1/2 and then the robot will stop until it reach my finger. As you said in your video if we want our robot to stop at a some distance of our hand we cannot be sure by using rotations. I am thinking to use the second example, so as the robot starts, its time I am about to put my finger in front of the robot it will stop. In my project I have to use the robot to ''teach'' to the students how we order fractions . What do you think can this help me ? At EV3 programm how many actions should I use to set in order 5 fractions and stop the robot with my hand ? Again, thank you!!!

Hi my robot has a software issue about the touch senor. It's not a port number issue. In fact, when you check the ports on the software it shows that it's recognizing the sensor and its state on the correct port. And it does get pressed. I even tried pressing it manually just to make sure. But it doesn't work in the code and say, if i have coded it to move backwards when it hits an object, IT DOESN'T STOP, it just keeps going forward continously. Any fix?
