From whom did you get the headliner Mopar or Hotheads ….?
Finally!!! Someone talking about driving without their jeep doors! I want to own one but always wanted to know what is it really like? So Thankyou! Great job👊🏾🛣
Why do you have a rear seat armrest?!? My self-ordered 2022, with upgraded MOPAR seat covers, does not!
Thanks! Good stuff to know.
Hey I drive a 2002 PT Cruiser I bought for $1000 as a work vehicle! Great video! By the way the Cruiser is my 5th vehicle, but I do like the 5spd and 25.2 MPG on my 1 hour commute to work.
Gona skip removing door for now. Great video!
I had no idea the seat locks existed. That’s awesome, thanks for sharing!
great video brother! can’t wait to take the doors and roof off my Gladiator.
I got a new Mojave a couple months ago for 26% off MSRP. Love it, just ordered seat jackers. Just want a tad more leg support. I recommend a Bestop Sunrider. I've had a '15 Ram since new that made me love the ZF8.
thank you!! I'm a new Jeep owner so very useful! I am looking forward to my first doorless experience soon!
Do you still have this? Would love another longer term review video.
I wish there was a lock for the storage underneath the backseats. Yea you can lock the seats cool, but the storage is more important imo
The underseat storage box does lock. Twice.
@@J.Shane_24 not when it doesn’t have a lid.
I think you might have swayed my decision to get a Mojave over a Rubicon.. I really don't care to rock crawl. So there's no need to pay for those extra options. Great informative video. Nice jeep you have there too.
I have to find a manual diesel gladiator. When building your own on jeeps website, it will not let you select the diesel and manual so i dont think that is an option. I would get a manual diesel any day of the week.
I'm hoping to putchase my first jeep and I think the Mojave is what I need. Gets really hot in S. E. Georgia.
Jeeps are way better than the competition Toyota levers wish they had a better truck are a Wrangler they always try to badmouth American Products
Great car's review. In Brazil we just have this car in Rubicon version. Success! Just adding a wish from Brazil "espero que o inter perca"
My MOHAVE IS NAMED "DEBBIE" A 21 TOO
The Gladiator is actually a very good rock crawler. The approach angle is the same as the Wrangler and with a lift and 35's and a hitch skid, it does just fine. It actually has some advantages with the long wheelbase, particularly with hill climbing. I've got a Wrangler and there wasn't anything in Moab I did that my brother's Gladiator couldn't do. Both were lifted with 35's. Nice video! Love the Mojave!
Whats a ruffrack ?
Looking for the day they build a single cab long bed v8 option.
Just watching this 2 years out. Does the auto trans have a tow/haul mode or does the 8 speed just not shift all the way out when towing?
Very nice review. Your details shared as a real owner after 4K is much appreciated
Regarding the headliner, for the ridiculous price jeep charges, you’d be better served to spend the same-ish $ on the hotheads headliner setup. Better quality and can cover the rear side windows for a bit extra. My rubicon jku came with the headliner option and while ok, it was waaaaaaay overpriced for what you get.
Darn Minnesota salt, awful rusty already 😢
No Bluetooth?
It does have Bluetooth! Sorry we missed it in the video.
Very nice video! Thank you very much. Am the owner of a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. (Lived in Springville, Utah, so it had plenty of rock crawling---but not the exotic stuff--while living in Utah. I've been thinking of buying my wife a Gladiator. I was highly prone to wanting to buy her a Rubicon Gladiator, as I'm of the opinion that the Rubicon is "the best Wrangler." Your video, yes, this video I just watched, has convinced me that a Sport S package Gladiator, with appropriate options, of course, will work superbly and save us a good amount of money. We live on the Hawaiian Island of Molokai. Your video is THE video I'll show to my wife prior to flying the approximate 40 mile flight to Kahului, Maui next month for our twelfth anniversary. (We sold my wife's Grand Cherokee Overland diesel, a 2014 model, prior to moving from Springville to Molokai in March 2019. So it's now Debbie's "turn" to get the new car.) It'll be a Gladiator Sport S---thanks to your video! Thank you very much! Andy McKane, 20 October 2023, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii.
I bet this guy is a laugh riot at parties!
Thanks I think?
3mo/4k miles is not really a "comprehensive review." While I realize that the JL is miles apart, in terms of reliability things can still go wrong beyond 4k miles. Yes, I also realize, this was 2 years ago.
leds should be standard
I went to discount tire to buy 35’s/12.5 and they said that they would rub
Great video
Solid review. You’re an excellent presenter.
I just buy the same as yours this week same color same specs ❤❤❤
I did it today for the first time, I bought my gladiator yesterday! OMGOODNESS so fun driving around Detroit Lakes Minnesota!
It’s a great spot for it and great weather!
Hello Sir, did you lift the car? or its all stock?
… yes… it’s worth it.
Being able to take ruff off is cool.
Have you ever drove with doors off and top on ? Wondering if that would be best if both worlds . Sun protection and doors off you get that wind breez convertible feeling ?
Definitely have! You do get the sun protection but it’s still very loud and windy. Still no mirrors. Sun protection is about all keeping the roof on gets you.
It's mo hah VEE not moh hah vay
I have a 04 Black Sapphire Metallic SMG. I love it!
Looks really good. I have a 04 mystic blue coupe 6sp. You're right about everything you said. Driving experience is amazing and raw, cannot get that in a modern car
100% agree!
Lol at 8:30 when we were more focused on making a video than idk...changing gears?
Love these cars
Can you just take the limiting arm off completely or would that mess with anything? I’m not real worried about hitting the front when it swings open
You could take it off if you wanted but then your door won’t have any stopping points. They’re very heavy doors, and it would hit your cowl constantly.
yes you need side mirrors in every state... well you only need a drivers mirror in any state. but we're all pretty used to 2 mirrors and a rear view
In Minnesota at least, side mirrors are not required by law. we confirmed with the Sheriffs office to be sure!
@@changinggearsmedia they’re 50 state required. The sheriff is not a law library.
Fmvss111
Do you like the bolstered seats?
Very much!
This is one of the best full reviews I’ve seen. Need something for the Midwest snow and towing a small teardrop trailer. Just wish it had the Hemi
We appreciate it! And I used to agree but after we drove the 392 Wrangler, which was cool, but the big power with big tire combination really made the “Jeep things” worse. It was extremely “wander-y”, tons of body roll. It made for a unique experience but not one I’d want to live with if I’m honest. I got out of it liking the V6 a little more
I just wish you could get the eco diesel in the Mojave.
Are you alive? Would like an update vid on Mojave.
Hey Ross! We are alive, but have had life get in the way of these videos. Hope to make more soon. As for my Mojave, I sold it at 12,000 miles and I loved them all and I regret selling it. But unfortunately no further update.
@@changinggearsmedia damn sucks to hear. Subscribed for more vids. Since jeep isn’t gonna put the 392 into the gladiator. If you had to choose the next powertrain for new gladiator would you go 4XE or tti6 (hurricane)?
