Samsung Q90RA 65" vs Samsung Q9FN 65" vs LG B9. !! Unprofessional !! Video Review. Please note that in some places I say B8 instead of B9. I meant B9 all the time. Also, at the end, I see that the B9 in the recording looks blown out/overexposed. I assure you 100% that it wasn't the case in real life and in those places the LG B9 was actually looking by far the most amazing of the 3. You could s...

    hi. thanks for the video. i bought a trim just like the front of your new trim, but behind there are 3 screw holes. But on my original streering wheel there is only 2 screws on each side not under the steering wheel. The under part is interlocking without screws. Do you know for which car is the part with front like your new one and back with 3 screws ?

      Hey bro, not sure, but if I would have to take a guess, I would say yes. If not clear enough in the video, let me know what spots you want me to take a picture of and I could make them for you to compare. If I recall well, airbags for G30 are 1 stage, 2 stage, or 3 stage. You can distinguish them by looking at the wires at the back of the airbag - can.t recall which are which, you.ll have to google it. What I recall almost certainly is, if you are changing the number of stages versus what you had on your initial airbag, you.ll have to do recode the car in order for it to function well.

    • @floringiurgiu7454
      @floringiurgiu7454 Před rokem

      Hey, as long as you replace the wheel with the same vehicle options, it can be M wheel or standard wheel, it is a direct fit, no coding needed. The next/back buttons work out lf the box. Again, the wheel needs to have the same vehicle options (i.e. I made the mistake to get a driver assistant professional wheel which is just available on lci models, while I had driver assitant plus - that wheel did not work, and at the moment of making the video there was no option available to make it work). What is the 5AU option? If it.s the M1/M2 buttons, those won.t work. You can get a wheel with your same vehicle options, plus the M1/M2 buttons, the wheel will work perfectly, but M1/M2 buttons won.t do anything and I understood they.ll show up as errors when scanning the car. At the moment of making the video there was no option to *code* the M1/M2 buttons to work. If there is one now, please let me know. However, there are some guys who sell you a kit to make the M1/M2 buttons switch between the comfort/sport/ecopro modes, additional wiring involved to the gearknob console.

    This is literally the best BMW how-to video I’ve ever seen. Instead of all of the others that say you can do x “in 10 minutes” with heavily edited clips, you go through all of the actual challenges and frustrations. It took me less than half an hour, probably would’ve been half a day without this.

      @floringiurgiu7454 Před rokem

      Haha thanks man, I actually googled a fair bit while trying to dismantle it, and as you said, the other videos/forums were "so you just remove the trim" while I was standing there trying and trying and cursing and it would just not move from it.s place. That.s why I decided to make the video :)

  • @nosystemisperfect9954

    This is way late but from what I can tell another issue you may be having is the fact that your color space is set to "native" on the Q9FN and "Auto" on the Q90RA but even without that slight hiccup I own a Q9FN and it can stand up to the B9 in many areas. Where Samsung still has not been able to match the Q9FN is in "contrast". The closest tv is the newest QN90B 2022 and even then it does not reach the black levels of the Q9FN. Oleds are far superior but you have to marvel at how close the Q9FN once got close to their levels. IF you can still find one the Q9FN truly is still a marvel of tech that is tough to beat!

    • @floringiurgiu7454
      @floringiurgiu7454 Před rokem

      So it is 3 years now for me with both the Samsung Q9FN and the LG B9 OLED and I can say hands down that in terms of image quality overall the Q9FN is way inferior to the B9 OLED. The only place where it probably wins is if you are looking at the TV during the day, with light coming through the windows, as it has more backlight and better anti reflection coating. Getting used to the B9 OLED, looking at the Q9FN at night makes me constantly cringe, because I can see how it's algorithm struggles to make the black zones black. I mean, it is effective at doing that, however it comes with the huge expense that when a dark scene appears, the screen is like dimming everything, including the area that should be lit, so the details in a dark scene can't be seen. Oh and did i mention the ghosting on the Q9FN during dark scenes? Wtf?! I thought such top tier panels do not have this issues. So if you want to pick a TV based on image quality, and you are not looking at the TV in a bright room, going with the OLED is really a no brainer. Compared to my initial review some things changed: the B9 annoys me because it bugs on the youtube app when I want to stream something from the phone, the B9's remote with pointer didn't prove to be that useful and the UI is slower and clunkier than the Samsung Q9FN's. Probably the C9 and newer years model don't have most of these issues. Ideally, I'd pick a samsung remote, samsung UI coupled with a LG OLED panel.

      It is possible to retrofit heated steering wheel, i have not yet done it as I didn.t have time to get to the electrician. Depending on your other vehicle options you need some extra parts in the steering column if i recall well, or you don.t if you already have driver assistance plus option. Plus some modifications in the fusebox and then vehicle order has to be changed to add the option in. Hi, Just wanted to check, do you have UHD option colour selected on the Q90RA? otherwise sounds like either the picture settings need adjusting or a device/cable interconnect issue rather than a fault with the actual TV. The Q9FN looks good though

    • @floringiurgiu7454
      @floringiurgiu7454 Před 4 lety

      Hey! I ended up returning both Samsung TVs in this video, but not before getting another Q9FN and I compared them again. I'm telling you, the Q9FN wins hands down in terms of picture quality. All TVs were resetted to factory settings when testing. On the Q90RA I played with all the options. Managed to make that "pixelated sky" go away, but then the screen was WAY darker in every other aspects too. As much as I wanted the Q90RA for newer model, de-sealed by me (the Q9FNs were re-sealed), better Bixby and great anti reflective coating, I could not get past the basics - and that is that the picture quality of it is terrible when comparing it against the Q9FN. Oh and about the device/cable interconnect potential issue that you were suggesting - the Q90RA was the only one unable to stream the video via Wi-Fi and was connected via cable ethernet (so was the only one having access to 1000mbps internet) - so all 3 TVs we're streaming CZcams at highest available res (yes, I was hoping Q90RA was looking like that because of streaming a lower res, but it wasn't the case).

      Totally with you on this. The 55" oled in the review is from my bedroom. Funny part is that the 65" variant for the LG B9 oled is *considerably* cheaper than the 65" Q90RA qled or my 65" Q9FN qled. Main reason I went with qled was cause i needed the one connect for wall mounting, otherwise I would.ve went with a considerably cheaper, second hand, 65" lg E8 oled.
